This was a great suprise. It is for my son's father-in-law. I didn't know what to get him for his birthday, but I knew he had a boat. He enjoys it a lot. Says he can keep his boat motor in tip top running mode.
The Sea-Sence Motor Flusher provides a simple and efficient way to test and work on your outboard moter when it is out of the water. It works great and saves time and water compared to the old way of filling a water testing tub and putting the motor in it. The flusher is the way to go !
I like the split hose construction of this outboard engine flusher; my Mercury always had a lack of aspiration problem when using single hose flushers. Very satisfied with the usefulness and quality; would recommend of the standard flusher.
I have the single flow but did not feel comfortable that it was getting the job done. I did some shopping around and found there was a Dual-Flow and did some price shopping. Walmart had the best price at half what it costs anywhere else. I should have bought two....D
I have a 97 Wellcraft with a Bravo 2 I. O. I winterized my engine for the first time this year and wanted a great set of muffs for the process. I saw this set with the steel reinforcement bar to help keep the fluid from leaking by keeping a tight seal. Well I first ran the engine with the garden hose connected and warmed it up to open the thermostat (160degrees) then I put my marine antifreeze in a long wide square basin with a household low duty sump pump, a short hose to the motor flusher, and left a small gap for some pressure to release before I started the engine. After I started the engine I put the flusher to cover the intake completely and it did not leak taking all of the antifreeze into the engine. After the antifreeze ran through the engine, I caught it with a large vinyl tarp channeling it back into the basin with the sump pump. I let it circulate for about ten minutes then I fogged the engine and shut it down. A great product and I will never have to buy another but if I do it will be from Walmart because even with the shipping they had the best price. Sorry for any gramatical errors. Will add the video later.
I purchased this to replace one that was about 10 years old, which no longer had enough tension to hold onto the outdrive properly and would leak badly. This Sea-Sense flusher holds securely and provides the added benefit of introducing water to both sides of the drive instead of one. I was a bit skeptical about how this would be - especially at this price, but then I saw the exact same flusher listed on other sites for 3 times the cost. It is well made and a Bargain at this price! The shipping was really cheap too - less than $4 which was even better than the ship to store option. This saved me time and gas and it arrived within 3 days.
I haven't seen this price for very good quality flusher. I am glad that walmart carry this product. Highly recommend
FOR JUST TWO DOLLARS MORE I WAS TOLD THIS IS TOP OF THE LINE IN MOTOR FLUSHERS, I AGREE, WORKED GREAT WHILE FIX AN IMPELLER PROBLEM ON MY PONTOON
Mostly satisfied with product. I hoped it would have been a tighter fit, but it did not seem to matter a whole lot. Especially when I turned the water pressure down as suggested in the instructions. It also would have been helpful to remind me to make sure that the weight of the hose was not pulling down on the "muffs". Once I took care of that, everything seemed to work fine.
It only took a few minutes to attach and run the necessary stabilizers and fogging oils throughout the engine as the motor was running to winterize my boat.
