Used this coffee with our new coffee grinder and I must say, I love this brand compared to the DD brand of coffee. For the price you get a fresh cup every time compared to ground coffee. Bean coffee is simply better tasting coffee and will last longer than ground coffee so you won't worry about losing flavor. Exceptional coffee
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seattle's Best Coffee Portside Roast is an absolute steal for the price! From the moment you open the bag, the rich, inviting aroma fills the room, promising a bold and flavorful cup—and it definitely delivers. The taste is smooth yet robust, with just the right balance of depth and drinkability. Whether I’m starting my morning or needing an afternoon pick-me-up, this coffee never disappoints. For the quality you get, the value is unbeatable. If you love a reliably delicious, full-bodied coffee without breaking the bank, Portside Roast is a must-try. Highly recommend! ☕️🔥
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells delicious! Tastes delicious! Super high quality coffee I’d highly recommend. Everyone who has tried it LOVES it. Cute packaging with easy brewing/access (some coffee packages break), but overall so yummy and a must!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seattle's Best Medium roast portside coffee tastes amazing. Every cup tastes fresh, rich, smooth, and delicious. Every brew of this coffee is great either hot or cold, with milk and cream or either black. I love the packaging it keeps the coffee fresh and helps to maintain that beautiful aroma. I highly recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seattle's Best Coffee Portside Blend has become my go-to morning brew. The medium roast offers a smooth, well-rounded flavor that's both hearty and satisfying. I appreciate the balanced taste with subtle notes of chocolate and a hint of nuttiness, making each cup a delightful experience. It's not overly acidic, which is perfect for my sensitive stomach. Whether I'm using a drip coffee maker or a French press, the consistency and quality remain top-notch. Plus, it's affordably priced, making it a great value for daily coffee drinkers. If you're seeking a reliable, flavorful coffee to start your day, Portside Blend is a fantastic choice.
My local Walmart stopped carrying the whole bean style in the store. This is the only place I can find it in my area. I buy several at a time. Love it. Seattle's Best offers 5 grades. 1 is light, 5 is heavy and dark. 3 is right in the middle and perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my coffee and this is a nice medium roast, smells amazing and has a nice flavor to it. Not bitter or too acidic for me, I’m kinda picky about that (or I should say my stomach is) This was my first time trying Seattles Best Coffee , but I’ll be looking for them in my local stores now. Love the resealable flap on the bag, clear instruction on the packaging is a plus too
The beans arrived broken, and since no matter what brand I've never had them show up this broken before I assume it's on them. They are dark, second crack looking, and taste a bit burnt. I used them for espresso as is common for me with budget medium roasts. I thankfully didn't find any twigs or stones in it yet, but I would not be greatly shocked if I do find them inside this product. (As in other small brands have in the past at this price range) The taste is smokey, woodsy, low acid, slightly bitter, lacking in oil but otherwise all the hallmarks of a dark roast. This product is sold as a medium roast. I also noticed their packaging stated it'd be good for over another year in best by date. This is comically optimistic and so if your even close to their best by date return on sight. Dark Roasts like this are generally good for maybe a few months tops and that's if they don't leak their gas, however this has a the standard medium blend 1 way gas system poach on it. So it has and will leak all of said CO2 out causing it to age rapidly. In short it is overly dark, borderline ground extra coarse and uneven, and is of no natural quality of note. If they did use a blend of beans or region flavor, or anything from that stand point it was burnt out of them. Their acid content is comically low, the oil is lacking which is the stand out feature of darker roasts. Leaving it a milding staling, mess of rubble. This makes for a low quality Beverage, is lacking in nuttiness (flavor of Nuts), and has no sense of Chocolate to this product what so ever; (no clue why it is said to have such, maybe before it was abuse to such a level.) I have tried to stand for the highest level of Accuracy in my review however they is in the end little more that can be meaningfully said at this point. It's not the worst coffee I've had, just unpleasant and mislabeled. Like asking for medium rare steak and being given a broken hamburger made of greying beef. It has no reasonable exception of being so low, however in court of laws is likely legally fine or at least hard to meaningfully argue against.
Too dark for me. Bag states medium roast. Smells burnt. Oily.
The worst coffee I've ever had. bar none. this $hît is almost undrinkable. if you like poop flavored coffee, this is for you. if I could give negative stars I would.
