Secondhand Lions [Blu-ray]

A young boy is left with his uncles while his mom "attends college," and is tasked to find out about their supposed fortune. during his stay his uncles fill him about tales to far away lands and fanciful adventures that seem like just "tall tales." Or perhaps there's more truth to the tales than expected. this movie is sure to captivate, and entertain. I absolutely love this film, and it is fun for the whole family, though you might want to have a conversation with the young ones about gun safety afterward, but definitely worth the laughs per minute. The film on this disc is 1080p widescreen and English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD, as well as English 5.1 Dolby Digital EX.

It's the only time I will recommend but check out the extra content for deleted scenes and the original ending if if if you cut the ending on the movie when Walter gets the call at the end of the movie and go to extras and start the original ending it's the best version of movie it's the only way my dad will rewatch it is if I change it to the original ending. Wish the would make a directors cut version with the original ending intended.

a charming and touching movie and the unwanted relative who forces his way into his uncle's lives, it has reminices of their (two uncle's) earlier highly adventurous life and greedy relatives and the befriending of a lion in Tennessee (you have to see it to have it make any sense) and their is a real treasure---action-greed-friendship-loving a family member-adverturourous highjinks and overall admiration of two fun loving uncles-a good time movie.
