Secret Shower Fresh Wide Solid Antiperspirant and Deodorant 1.7 oz

I have been using this product forever. The secret solid. I can smell that it is different. It's like the invisiable solid. Which does not work good for me. Like the other review I still have an old one that I'm clutching to. I thought it was just me but I'm glad I saw someone else thinks the same thing

can someone tell me what changed in the ph balance formulas??? been using shower fresh for years and recently it's been making me itch and break out in a rash no matter which scent I try.

This deodorant is bad. I used to use Secret when I was in middle school but switched over to Dove several years ago. I decided to try out secret again, specifically this deodorant in the shower fresh scent. The smell was decent, not anything spectacular. I wore this deodorant while I was taking my SAT test and I don't think I have ever sweat more than I did during that test, and it was cold in the room! I still stuck with this deodorant for a month or two but I continued to sweat heavily and I could smell my sweat. It sucked! I thought I had developed some heavy sweating issues until I switched back to Dove and realized it was just this deodorant. My dove deodorant works great compared to the Secret deodorant. I definitely won't be using Secret again.

I've used the same product for years and over 3 weeks ago began noticing a rash develop. I just switched to a different brand and the rash went away. I'm assuming something changed with the formula which is disappointing since it was a great product prior.

After 40 years of worry feee usage, I now notice my underarms smell of body odour, especially in the summer when I am sweating. I am likely going to have to change products unfortunately.

So, although this website states that this is Secret's "original tried and trusted formula," Secret has actually changed the ingredients (and I should also note that they are different than what appears on this very website). I have used the Powder Fresh since I was in middle school - 30 years later, the formula has changed and I can no longer use it. The new formula has the following new ingredients: mineral oil, PPG-14 butyl ether, and petrolatum. The texture of the new product is less dry, and feels kind of like lotion under your arms (and not in a good way). By far, the worst change is the different fragrance. As others have mentioned, there used to be just a subtle baby powder smell - now it is overwhelming, cloying, and chemical-y. Procter & Gamble should really consider that people have allergies, and a such a huge change in formulation should be clearly noted on the bottle.

I have always relied on Secret solid and never been disappointed, until now….invisible sticks burn my skin. Cant use any brand of them. But something has changed with this product. I now get wet under my pits 3-4x a day even if i reapply frequently through the day. Boooo!

I've used this product for years. It was the only one I could use and I was very pleased with the results. Recently, the product is not working the same way. I have an older one that works but the newer ones do not. What happened? Did the formula change? How can I get the old one back? P.S. The previous formula would've gotten 5 stars.

In my workout bag I have an older version of the solid formula that I love, leaves me feeling dry and smelling like baby powder all day BUT the newer formula leaves me needing to reapply and smells like chemicals. Please go back to your original solid dry formula of powder fresh but in the meantime after 45 years I'm trying a different brand.

What happened?? I've used Shower Fresh ORIGINAL solid and I suddenly can't find it anywhere. Only the type with the solid lid (not see-through) worked for me. Finally realized y'all changed the lid but apparently the product has changed as well, because it no longer works!! I have hyperhidrosis so this is VERY upsetting. I guess I'll have to find a NEW brand of deodorant now ☹️
