Great value for the price. Had a strong smell to them when I first opened the package (it said on the package there would be one) but once they were cooked they were fine. Would buy again!
So the other person who reviewed these obviously doesn't know how to prepare them. You can put them in the oven on 350 for all of 10 minutes or simply boil them in whatever soup you want and they get soft. These are absolutely great and a staple Korean feel good snack!
These were very good! You need to know how to cook them in order for them to be "edible" I simply boil mine for a few minutes and they are done! I add them to my samyang noodles and it gives them lots of flavor! Only down side is that you need to eat the whole bag in a timely matter or seal it properly. I must have not sealed mine to tight and they did start to get rotten. so they do go old after a little while! Other than that I'm definitely buying again!
I've tried a few different brands of rice cakes, and I just love this brand SO much. They're so thick and chewy, I dont have too much trouble with overcooking and splitting them. GREAT for beginners who aren't super familair with Korean dishes 😁
these are great I recommend
Can't find item on island so glad it ships here
I like it so much, but it's expensive, please lower the price
Product was delivered as expected. I think it was too expensive for they quantity and quality. I would have bought this at the local oriental market, but they were out of stock at the time.
I like to try different things so I appreciate the versatility of rice cakes. I like to play with the sauces I add it to makes for interesting food adventures. Like others have said you need to prep the cakes first and boil before adding to any dish.
These clearly say to keep refrigerated marked very clearly on the back of the package . They were shipped in a regular Walmart box without any type of cold pack or way to keep fresh .
