great value

geekinstein February 16, 2026

This saw looks cheap, but man does it rip through wood. I expect to have to sharpen the blade frequently until i replace it. It is a terrific value. I will use it around my home, farms and rentals from an inverter in my truck. its a much better set up than a 20v dewalt saw.

This is powerful enough to cut through large logs. I use mine sometimes to cut planks or of logs. 12 amps I barely ever hear it even slow down. release the trigger and the blade stops immediately. I should have gotten the bigger one with more snow but I was a cheapskate. 8 would advise just spending the extra. this chainsaw is definitely worth the money, I just should have gotten the one with more amps. easy to tighten the chain,

I was very surprised by this chainsaw. I wasn't expecting much when I purchased it but have been impressed by its power and cutting ability. I've cut up several trees with it most likely larger than recommended for its size and had no issues with it and its still going strong. If you don't need a monster of a saw and don't want to be bothered with mixing fuel I highly recommend this item.

Powerful, sturdy, and great value

ShadowDave April 12, 2026

Very easy to assemble blade to housing and assembled unit feels sturdy. Automatic oiler works well (my previous saw had a thumb-operated manual oiler, this is much more convenient.) Motor is powerful, and chain brake is instantaneous after releasing power switch, and kickback handguard clicks smoothly on and off. The only tiny complaint I can think of is that the chain oil tank is white but doesn't have a clear stripe to see the oil level without dipsticking it. My gas saw is more portable but this is at least as powerful and MUCH easier to use than choke, prime, pull several times, half choke until it warms up, etc. A great machine; I hope it lasts for many fireplace seasons.

This one doesnt leak oil like the one i got at harbor freight. Price was good, standard chain, plugs into 115 volts, has bar oiler and brake. Would be good for butcher too

If I ran a cord to the house to 20 amp breaker it worked just fine. I'm using my 2000 W generator out in the boonies and it keeps tripping it breaker which I think is only 15 amp. I'm running off a generator. Make sure your amperage is better than 15.

Difficult to adjust tension. Chain gets loose too easily. Supposed to be self-sharpening, but I certainly haven't noticed that. I've used the saw for less than an hour and already the chain is so dull it barely cuts.

Do not purchase

Dan January 25, 2026

Blades are so dull I am wondering if it was an old used blade on my brand new saw. Doesn't cut its way through a single branch. Totally useless. What a piece of junk and waste of my money.
