Oregon S62 Saw Chain, 18 in.

I needed a new chain to cut down some trees and this chain was awesome, it was like cutting through butter.

this Oregon Bar and chain is a perfect match for my older Craftsman chainsaw, and actually better that tge original, two of the hardest trees to cut through Cedar and Osage Orange(Hedge Apple) cut through them like butter, the picture I posted with this looks like its a little ragged, but its actually wel used, have cut lots and lots of trees down and looking forward to more, Oregon stuff is grear and I highly recommend.

Power immediately when you press the trigger, easy to tighten chain on the bar especially with the convenient storage built into the lower handle for tool stowing. Plus you don't have to worry about hauling fuel which can spill out not to forget the extra expense. I will carry this saw in my truck more often so I can have it readily available when I need it.

new chain did not cut a 2 inch nor a 3 inch tree branch, so I am very disappointed. It barely made a 1/8 inch deep cut into wood branch and would not cut any deeper, no matter how i placed the saw blade against the branch. Fyi - the original chain on the oregon elect saw when i purchased it, easily cut through 3, 4, and 5 inch branches many times over, with no problem. So beware of replacement chains, they may not do the job you desire of them.

There is not a higher quality chainsaw chain in the market today. Price. Quality. Durability. And did i mention price, the dual chain package price is the only way to purchase these chains. And Walmart is the most competitive in the market. And it has to go without saying, so i will say it anyway - BE CAREFUL ! The first time that you lose focus while using your saw maybe the last time that you ever will. Either that or you will be doing it with fewer appendages, some added gashes, or a loped of ear.
