Repalcement inexpensive chain files.
The two pack of files were handy. File retouched the teeth on the chain with just a few passes and was delivered same day. I had misplaced/lostmy file so this delivery saved my day and kept me working.

As always the prices cannot be beat by anyone. I have purchased these files before and the steel used is exceptionally hard. Just what is needed to sharpen todays chainsaws !

Sharp chains are a necessity for clean-up work
TriLink Saw Chain, Size 5/32" sharpening files in the two-pack were received today. I own a heavily forested lake lot needing many trees removed to provide the necessary lake view. The only thing better than a re-sharpened chain is a brand-new one. I hope to learn the best re-sharpening techniques to speed up the big job ahead. If you have priced the cost of getting trees cut by others recently, it is either unaffordable or you can’t get the people who agree to do it to actually show up. Or both! Homeowner’s insurance companies don’t want large trees close to a dwelling. Often they just refuse to insure you if they deem your property to be risk-prone for any number of reasons. Training in the proper chain-sharping procedure through Youtube may be the only solution to my current lack of training. This is what I have learned: A sharp chain is a safe chain. In order to properly sharpen your 3/8" low profile chain you should hold the 5/32" round file at a 90º angle from the chain itself. File all cutters on one side at a 30º angle, move to the other side of the chain and file all cutters at the same 30º angle for a clean, consistent, identical sharpening. It takes about 6 minutes to sharpen each saw chain. Lots of money and time are saved if you get really good at it.
