I love this fire safety box because it is very heavy and built well. Easy to open and close, I leave the keys right in for quick access. I feel my papers are safe inside.

I have had this safe for more than 30 years! I am thankful that I have never had to test its fire rating, but it has stored our most important original documents over all of that time. The key works flawlessly, never sticking! The ONLY thing I wish is that it was ever so slightly wider so I could fit 3-ring notebooks inside without going kitty corner. Of course, that's no fault of the design as that was never intended. Just the way I tend to file certain documents. Still loving it after all these years!

I really love the safe the size and toughness of it can't be beat but I wish it had integrated handles so I could move it around easily or wheels

Weight of safe is reasonable for the protection it provides. Purchase was primarily to protect documents from fire, not security. Not sure how well the key lock would handle an aggressive attack, but it does keep random folks from accessing sensitive documents. Interior is large enough to handle passports, wills (not legal size papers) and similar. Or valuables that need to be accessed quickly (but not something that a thief would grab the whole safe %26 haul away to break into later).

The size it nice and it seems very sturdy. we have a fire box now from decades ago and this is so much of an upgrade. I rated 4 stars because I just got it so have not had it long enough to give 5 stars.

I bought us safe because it's supposed to be fireproof and secure but I found that other keys can open the safe so it's that not secure Also when I open the box the safe was damage right above the key I have a photo here it is.

The safe was as described. However it arrived very dirty. Had a large white stain on the top and there were crumbs of something inside. I'm sure the safe works. Was just dissatisfied with how it arrived.

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that it had been used. It had white stuff on it. When I tried to use the key to lock it, it wouldnt lock. The part that turns to lock got stuck and would not come up. I will be returning.
