good little safe for the money but if somebody really wanted to steal something it would just pick it up and carry it away the only problem was with the battery lid it was hard to remove and put the batteries in and then difficult to replace

Solid enough case? A little big, but it'll do. Like the key entry as backup %26 bummed I have to steal batteries from flash lights in my house but my own fault for not even thinking about batteries. Duh.

I have had this product for many years. I love it, and the one we have is durable and works great. We use it almost every day, the latch sometimes sticks if you put in something that is by the latch area a bit bigger, but that's not a surprise. We got a second for a different reason, and love these for safety and easy access!

This safe has many benefits, I use it for medications. However, it is small enough for legal documents and or jewelry. It is small enough that you chide it anywhere in your home if necessary. Since mine is for securing medication from small children, it serves its purpose. Access is either a 4 digit code or by key entry. The code access requires 2 double AA batteries.

This mini-safe works great! I access it daily and it works flawlessly. You are able to program in your own simple passwords easily, so you will not have to add yet another password to your memory. Be aware that it is small and light and therefore it is not immune to the effects of fire nor the efforts of determined thieves

The safe is very sturdy and convenient to carry should you ever need to take it with you. I like that it has a thick cushion to protect things like jewelry.

Seems to be well made but I would like it better if the safe opened when I entered the code alone and did not have to turn a dial to complete the process.

I had high expectations for this to work. Bought it for my son's dorm room. Attached it to a pole, but the keys didn't work. Since I had no packaging left, (and I had to cut the cord) I could no longer use the safe. Good idea for a product, just a bit cheaply made. It was recommended to me from a friend, so disappointed that it didn't work as well as expected.

Cannot use the keypad option because it's so loud it woke up everyone in the house and triggered my dog to have a full-blown panic attack. It's been over 30 minutes and her and I are both still trembling! According to manufacturer, there is no way to silence it. This isn't a warning sound that the wrong code was entered, which I could sort of understand being loud. This is the sound of pressing each key and confirming the correct code was entered so you can open it! Since I missed the return window, I'm now stuck with it. Still works with the key, but that was not what I paid an extra $25 dollars for. Guess I can take it apart and see if there's a way to rip the speaker out. We used to have a bigger safe from Sentry and loved it, but it had the option to lower and completely mute the sounds on the keypad.

I wasn't expecting it to be bright blue, which attracts attention more than gray or black. The material is very cheap and can be broken open easily. Also, the lid does not fit the case and it would be so easy to put a chisel into this and break it open. The cable fits into a hole, which is literally an opening into the case - it can easily be jerked out if you twist a chisel since the lid doesn't fit properly. There are other models that have a cable that locks into slots on the side, and you have to open it to remove the cable - that is more secure. The only benefits to this case over the others are the key override for in case the batteries die and you can't enter the combination, and the code length which goes up to 8 digits. I would NEVER want this case to be in an even partially visible place.
