Walmart had the best price on this safe. Easy to order and pick up. This safe is actually "fireproof" compared to the other steel boxes that have no insulation or protection from a fire. it is also waterproof instead of just water resistant, which means it will survive a flood vs. the cheaper built ones. if you just want to lock something up, the steel boxes will do the job. if you want to protect your valuables from fire and water, this is a good choice. Oh, it is much heavier than a larger, cheaper, safe.

I love the item and have looked forward to purchasing it. The quality is great and the security mechanism. I haven't used it for long so can't say much on durability. Packaging was good and clean. Although the price was $20 less I wished it was a bit cheaper.

It's a great safe but it doesn't bring a key unlock feature. I thought it did but I guess I was wrong. Other than that the safe is great heavy duty and heavy.

Very good and heavy safe. You need couple people to move around -80 pounds of weight. Has original password and you can add extra two combinations of 5 numbers. Easy to use. Just remember it doesn't have key-so it cheaper

This looks like it would be a great safe for a strong person, however, it was delivered to my garage and I could not lift it for all the money in the world. It was just way too heavy for a little old lady. Sorry.

This is the second one I bought. The first one has been great for 10 years. I had to return this 100 pound safe because something inside the handle broke and it would not lock and was very difficult to open. I could hear parts rattling inside the handle. Disappointed

Box was in good shape but when opened up box the safe was damaged. Was thinking oh well no big deal. Started reading instructions and then looked for the key and huh, no key. How can you get a new item that has a dent in it and no key to operate it? Well, I sent it back asking for a replacement. Still waiting to see if I get replacement.

Within two weeks of owning, the safe door would not open despite the correct key code being applied and accepted. Handle, which is made of plastic, was stuck. My valuables were locked inside for several weeks until we got lucky and it opened. I immediately returned to the store after this experience.

Does not come with emergency keys. Battery tray is on the outside of the safe, if it was to ever get taken out. you would not be able to open the safe and the items that you are trying to secure will be stuck in there. i would rather buy a less durable safe that has backup features case of an emergency.

Must've been thrown around in transport because it came dented inwards with the metal frame bent outwards. Spent so much time looking for a good safe just to have it be broken upon arrival.
