this is a little padding to help with a new mattress that's a little firm until broken in. It did not make you too hot and will help protect from my sweaty husband. It's been over a month and it is still good. Stays on mattress fine. With washing it will need delicate and tumble dry until almost dry and checking on it to turn it wet side out. If using common sense laundering shouldn't be an issue. I prefer a foam topper tbh, but husband sleeps to hot worth one. This was a good in between choice. Hope this helps.

I've purchased many mattress covers over the years for my large family. Up until now, most mattress covers I've purchased have looked the same, they all had quilted cotton percale tops. Right off you see the difference in this Serta mattress cover. The top layer is a mesh looking nylon polyester that allows for air flow for extra breathability. and is hypoallergenic. Top is polyester filled and soft to touch and the package says it is treated with Microban for antibacterial protection. Sleeping on it is soft and comfortable. The best thing is it fits my extra deep queen size mattress. Package says fits up to 18 inch deep mattress. Serta brand name also carries a high level of trust.

I really like this mattress cover especially for summer time because it keeps you cool and doesn't feel too hot like others I have bought. I might have to buy another one to put on top of this one for a more cushiony feel but that's just me. It works great and leakproof otherwise.

Purchased this mattress topper for summer use on our bed. The mattress topper provided a very little cooling effect. And topper is not very squishy or soft compared to our mattress. I returned this product.

It is definitely not true to its size you really have to pull to get the cover over your bed. And when you finally do get the cover adjusted it comes off again.. it has no support at all

The Allswell brand one works better at cooling. This felt very warm like it was heating up rather than cooling. I'll be on the lookout for when the Allswell one comes back in stock because it actually has cooling effect and it's more plush and soft! Cannot recommend this Serta pad at all.

Complete piece of garbage and waste of money!! Already tearing after 4 months and hasn't even been washed!! I will NEVER buy another Sertapedic mattress pad nor will I EVER purchase another item like this from Walmart due to customer service not taking care of their consumers!!!!

I received a BLOODY, SMELLY, BLOODY, USED Mattress Pad! BLOODY! USED! Walmart won't give me my money back unless I return it!! Seriously! I will not touch this thing nor package it for return, It was thrown out of my house into the garbage. I had one of these a year ago and I loved it. It is cool to the touch. It would be nice if I could get a new one that isn't full of blood..

The back of the product is made with a terribly cheap material. It tore and fell apart after the first wash. Cycle was on bulky sheets light cycle. The inside batting is itchy!

the fabric underneath ripped after the second wash. i had another one (same one) that lasted a few years. the quality has significantly gone down with this product.
