Super easy to use especially when starting with the smaller deck, my 10 year old found the instructions easy to follow and the game play was quick. We then incorporated the full deck into play and enjoyed the competitiveness of the game. I'm a middle school teacher and my students adore this game!

We are so glad we got SET Tin for our family! The game has been around for a while and is a beloved classic. The aim is to find a set of 3 cards that have 3 of the elements (shape, shading, color) either all the same or all different. It's quick and easy to learn and does not require reading or math skills, so even preschoolers can master it! It helps with critical thinking and pattern recognition, and can be played as a solitaire or with friends/family. Set is a game that our whole family enjoys. With younger kids, we take turns (to make sure everyone gets to claim a set), but older kids love to compete who can find sets the fastest. This is one of those games that never gets old or boring - if cards are well shuffled, it's never the same. It's quick to learn, and quick to play. It comes in a sturdy storage tin that's also easy to take along - to a playdate, vacation or grandparents'. We highly recommend this game to folks of all ages. 5 out of 5 stars!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This is a fun game of finding matching SETS of 3 cards based on four different features: shape, color, number of images, and type of shading. The cards either all have to match the characteristic or all be different to get a proper SET. The instructions suggested starting with one deck and then once we mastered finding SETS there, we added the second deck and played the full game. We are getting better at seeing SETS the more we play. I like this game for multiple players and also as a solitaire game. This game works well as a cooperative game working together to find SETS or playing competitively to win. The tin box is nice for storing the cards.

It took a minute to get the hang of what to look for, but once it clicked, it got really competitive in the best way. My 8 year old started spotting sets faster than the rest of us! I've played this game with my middle schoolers in the past and they had a good time with it. My granddaughter kept asking to play after she understood the rules she was finding SETS before me. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I actually own the original version of this game and love it. It is well worn and definitely needed replaced! My family enjoys the game play and the quick thinking it takes to recognize sets. The younger players have some difficulty the first few plays but speed up once they get the groove down. I wasn't sure about the tin, but it will come in handy to keep the deck safe when taking the game on adventures. It is fun to challenge yourself in solo mode. I know this game will get lots of table time at my house.

The cards came with an "easy start" deck separated out that made a huge difference for us getting back into spotting sets. We played with just that deck several times and then brought out all the cards. We definitely started out slowly, but every time we shuffled the cards and started over, we got faster and faster! This is such a great game for all ages! Kids can easily compete and keep up with adults - you just have to be able to spot the patterns. Both of my parents agreed that we should play more often to help "stretch" our brains and thinking. I have also played solo many times, just to practice and play in a non-competitive way that I find relaxing. Set is great for learning to see patterns in different ways. There's no age or knowledge requirements, and it's so fun competing to spot the sets first! This is definitely a game I like to gift and this new packaging makes Set even more giftable! The tin and everything in it are good quality and thoughtfully designed to fit everything perfectly. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Set is just a great game that everyone seems to enjoy!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. My child and I were not familiar with this game so having a QR Code to scan with a tutorial came in very handy. We watched a couple of times to get a good understanding of the game. Set up was easy and game play was fun once we got the hang of the different cards and how the sets worked. My child wanted to play again once she got the hang of it but it did take awhile to figure out the different ways to make a set. We referenced the paper rules also that came with a Q&A section with various scenarios and answers. Would recommend this game and stick with it. It will be worth it. Thankfully, my child stuck with the game and enjoyed it. Younger children may need help with all the different ways to make real sets.
