This item ( Se7en 4k Uhd blu-ray )was back ordered through most online retailers and heaven knows most chains no longer carry physical media much to my chagrin. Lo and Behold but only did Walmart have it on hand and ready to ship it was about $5 cheaper than anywhere else that it could even be found.
If you've seen it you know what to expect story-wise but the 4K transfer looks great
An already amazing movie! The 4K transfer is amazing!!!
EXCELLENT.
Excellent Transfer and pc]ackaging
Movie itself is a 10, picture quality is like an 8 and the 4k packaging is just pathetic. First off no where in the listing did they mention this was a digipak and not just a standard 4k case with a slipcover. Then on top of that, the disc is wedged in between the packaging which makes getting the disc out a real pain and will also eventually cause scratching. Also, the word “SE7EN” on the spine is flipped which makes absolutely zero sense. If I had known this was a digipak I wouldn't have bought it. The packaging is an abomination against humanity and deserves to be thrown into a volcano.
My supposedly brand new 4K disc is covered with micro scratches covering the entire disc. Needless to say it didn't play well and would freeze up. The cardboard packaging is pathetic and is hard to even get the disc out in order to play it. I would recommend getting only the steel book edition.
i love this amazing movie, and could hardly wait to watch this upgrade of the blu ray i already own... the movie straight from the case, started glitching around the 15 minute mark, eventually totally hanging up. disc remvoved, cleaned, persistent storage cleared, and the movie again started becoming unplayable after about 15-17 minutes in. maybe a one-off defect, but it has me reluctant to buy it again.
bad disc, the uhd disc freezes in 3 of our 4k players, always at the same two spots in the film. Just the terrible digibook packaging is to blame, and some realllllllllly bad quality control.
Movie stops playing about 20 minutes in. Clean disc no scratches. Still won't play
