Seventh Generation Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent Geranium Blossom & Vanilla, 50 oz

I wish the bottle was bigger but finding out that they made it out of biodegradable and recyclable cardboard board was fun. It's also ultra concentrated so you don't need much but it would be nice if the amount in the bottle actually reflected the price because $30 for a teensy bottle seems a little bit overpriced, if it had a bonus amount that would be different I have such sensitive skin that even the free and clear detergent make me itchy and give me a rash. Before using Seventh Generation bio-based laundry detergent for the first time, I read the instructions & followed them (re: the cap). From the comments, I understand the recommendation to wash and dry the cap. No problem, I easily include it in my dish cleaning routine. Other brands leak around the top edge and are impossible to clean up. This brand's cap has a wide opening & is EASY to wash.& dry.

LOVE the scent, quality and packaging of this product! The essential oil scent reminds me of the boutiques I traveled to in France, their soaps and fragrances were infused only with all natural oil. If you are headache prone to artificial fragrances you will love this! It suds nicely and leaves a beautiful, gentle fragrance! Also, these people deserve 10 stars for such awesome packaging, a cardboard container! THANK YOU!!!!!:)

Wow! Took a chance on this new smell. Was concerned it would be intense like Mrs. Myers and it's not! Very gentle and Fresh. I only like natural products and was tired of the lavender, as that is a bit strong. Try it. Very different and nice. Subtle.

I found the paper bottle difficult to grasp in order to pour. I also find it difficult to grasp the idea that the scent is of geranium "blossoms". Geranium leaves have a pronounced odor but I have never noticed a scent to the blossoms. There isn't much of a fragrance to the detergent at all, which is fine with me. It cleaned some soiled white socks pretty well, so that was a plus too.

This is the first time using this detergent. The detergent itself is fine but after pouring it into the washer, I put the cap back on the bottle and it ran down the sides everywhere. After reading that you should rinse out the cap, I was disappointed. That's a lot of wasted detergent that is still in the cap. I don't think I will use this again.

I buy this detergent to help save the environment. I, too, could not find the lines for fill levels. But I thought the bottle was getting empty too fast, and you can't tell if you put in too much detergent, because it has no odor (a good thing!) So I finally went to the Internet and asked "how to measure detergent in Seventh Generation detergent bottle?" And AI told me how to look for the lines--i.e. hold cap up in front of a lamp. And I discovered I've been putting in way too much detergent. I had been filling to the bottom of the green part of the lid, which is way too much. That is why I was using up the detergent so quickly. It could also be why other people's towels are coming out scratchy.

I've liked and used seventh generation products for years. But the cap on the liquid detergent bottle may finish my patronage. Couldn't you post a picture or diagram to show where these mystery marks are located? Or better yet, redesign the cap. This is very frustrating. I prefer dry detergents but I guess that ship has sailed.

I have been buying Seventh Generation laundry soap for years, and when I saw it on sale a couple of years ago, I bought a few jugs. However, the plastic is of very poor quality. What happened, did you change the plastic formula? The jugs easily crack, without even banging them around, and they leak detergent all over the place - it makes a big mess! As soon as I've finished using what I have left, I won't buy any more.

It claims it is geranium blossom and vanilla but it smells NASTY and nothing like the geranium blossoms I have smelled or vanilla. Totally disappointed and because you do not have the citrus at a reasonable price switched to TARGET where they still have and not trying to over charge me!
