SHAKESPEARE E-Z Loader Universal Fit Replacement Bump Feed String Trimmer Head (1 Count)

Replacement for my Hart 40v string trimmer. This is my second one in 3 years as I use it regularly maintaining yards around my community. It works great just make sure when you do bump it that you DO NOT bump it on a hard surface such as concrete or pavement. It's only meant to be bumped to feed the line on a grass or dirt surface. Hard surfaces will over time will destroy the entire underside of the head.

I like that the part that you bump on the ground to feed the string has a separate spinning part that contacts the ground and doesn't get worn out as it isn't spinning with the rest of the head, while feeding the string. Also, it feeds the string much easier than the original manufacturers bump feed head.

This item was purchased to replace the OEM Hyper Tough weed eater head after searching for that particular item decided on the Shakespeare after watching videos showing that it would work for the Hyper Tough head. It was a bit challenging, but perseverance paid off.

I looked this over and decided to take a chance on the fit to my Kobalt 24 volt Weed Eater even though it was not listed for use on it and though I was able to use some parts they are not a factory fit so keep in this in mind when you research the applications for this part to save yourself a lot of time and effort with negative results.. I took a chance and lost, my own fault.

Purchased to replace Walmart HyperTough trimmer head. Worked great. Had slight problem and called customer support line. Wonderful lady Monica talked me through it and was very knowledgeable. Recommend highly.

I have purchased this item for a number of trimmers. Works as advertised, and have had these for years . None has failed yet, and don`t expect it any time soon.

I replaced the trimmer head on my Hart 20V trimmer that can take different attachments. If you have used this trimmer before you know it is a great powerful (almost like a gas trimmer) yard tool. I did not think I would be able to get a quality trimmer head like the original unless I could find the original. Unfortunately (or fortunately) since Hart is going out of business I couldn't find the OEM part and instead went with the Shakespeare E-Z loader. This new trimmer head out performs the original by a landslide! It is fantastic to use and works better than I could have imagined. Clearing our hillside went at least twice as fast (I also upgraded the string) with the new head. Loading the trimmer head and getting everything lined up just right during assembly is a bit tricky but once you figure it out it gets easier. Feeding the string through can be difficult if everything is not lined up exactly right.... but once you figure it out you've got it. From the loading of the string to using the bump feed that actually works, this made trimming a whole new experience. I am very pleased and consider this a necessary upgrade. I highly recommend!

was fast shipping, i installed, took a minute to figure out which adaptors to use on my brand of weedeater. once I got it installed it worked great. better than the original head. i also like that you can wind the trimmer line onto it. only thing that would be better is if it wound on by spring loading/self winding. lol. I took me little longer to figure out how you load it. why I didn't give 5 stars

The trimmer head is well built, but the adapters and spacers that are included only work for a limited number of brands, required modification for my brand.

It will not work with Craftsman Model 154.74092 as shipped. The adapters are correct for a reverse threaded bolt but these Craftsman weed Wackers are not. I was able to modify (cut in half and drill out the center) of the adapter, needed to buy a regular threaded nut to get it to work.
