My floors are getting clean because of the steam that comes out of it. The mop heads that come with it, do a good really job of picking up the dirt. Overall, this is the only kind of mop I will use. Walmart sells them cheaper than Amazon for the same thing.

I've owned this mop before, wandered off for a “fancier” Bissell with all the bells and whistles… and came crawling back. The Bissell looked cool until I actually used it.. just extra stuff trying to seem high-tech. The Shark? Simple, powerful, and gets the job done without overcomplicating life. What I love most is the pump action.. it gives you control, and the steam comes up almost instantly. My floors go from dull to spotless in minutes. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and honestly kind of satisfying to use. No buttons, no weird digital settings .. just plug it in and go I've seen people complain about the lack of variable steam or the small water tank, but honestly, that's part of why it's great. It's consistent, quick to heat, and doesn't feel like a workout dragging it around. I can clean my kitchen and hallway on one tank, and the floors dry super fast. If I had to nitpick, I wish the water cap was a little bigger and the cord wrap less awkward.. but that's soo minor. Overall, this mop is a no-drama, no-regret buy. I've learned my lesson: sometimes simple is smarter.

This mop came nicely packaged and pretty much ready to use after reading the instructions. I have high acid water so I rushed out and bought two gallons of distilled water. Was amazed at the little amount of water it actually uses, I'll have them for quite a while and they're cheap. It's very easy to use on tile or wood, is fast and easy, and cleans great. The best part of all is it's cleaning with steam, there's no water residue to pick up after, it's virtually dry a minute or so after you've gone across it. The mop head is easy to remove and clean, just separate the velcro edges and throw in a bucket of soapy water. Ready to reuse when you are. Would recommend to anyone who wants a fast and easy way to keep floors clean.

I bought this to replace the exact model which I have had for 4 years. I love the mop. I like that it cleans with steam instead of cleansers. Traditional mops put the dirty water back on the floor. I gave it four instead of five stars because the handle broke off and couldn't be repaired. Also because it only comes with one pad and it takes two or three to clean all the floors in my house and the additional pads are expensive.

it doesnt use the entire pad .when i steamed my floors.it picked up dirt on some of the pad, its like stean head has highpoints not anlevto utilize the entire pad.The head just flops all over the place ,since you can flip the head over and use other side.youre steaming straight,then the head flops to left,the next thing you know, youre off the grid pattern,that you were on.the steam lasts maybe 5 minutes .out of all the steamers ive had over the years this one is the worse.. my old shark 20 yrs ago worked far better than this one ..oh yes you cant see a fill line they dont mark it on machine or the cup that comes with it.using the cup i filled it an inch from top,i laid the shark flat on floor, poured the water in,it didnt go half way up inside the tank,theres a window that u can see tank water in if you back light your shark you get 2 pads with it.ts flimsy,in order to get steam you constantly have to pump it does ho up and down while your steaming it was easy to put together,snap on handle and steamer head.

I had it shipped as my husband has Alzheimer's and I have difficulty shopping in stores. I couldnt believe FedEx would deliver a package that was heavily taped to just hold it together! A big chunk of the box was missing and only thing keeping mop in box was more tape!! Not even going to open it. When I called Walmart customer service center I was told I had to take it back to Fedex. They insisted that was my only option. Unbelievable!!

I just bought a steam mop from walmart. I plug in but no steam coming out I keep pushing the pump but nothing. Blue light is on so its power on. I'm so frustrated and annoyed. I hate dealing with stuff like this thank god it never happened before

Absolutely the worst cleaning equipment I have ever had. Prior model was much better. Definitely needs an on/off switch. Once you have finished an area you are across the room from the mop and have to wait until floor is dry to unplug it. Not enough steam/water to clean a floor.

This is the 2nd shark I have bought and this one lasted less than 6 months. The first one I owned lasted years. This one was VERY DISAPPOINTING! I always buy shark products. I have a handheld cordless vacuum and our regular vacuum. I'm almost done using their products all together

I bought this mop 8 months ago and it's sat in the closet for 7 months....the mop sounds like it's trying to steam but nothing coming out after 3 times used. Tried the wire trick several times to clean calcifications from the steam nozzle. Mold and mildew also built up in tank after 2nd use and no way of cleaning it. So disappointed. Only wish I could get my money back.
