Shark Vertex DuoClean PowerFins Upright Vacuum, Pet Friendly, Powered Lift-Away, Self-Cleaning Brushroll, AZ2000 Blue

OMG! We were blown away by the suction of this vacuum cleaner. It picked up SO MUCH DIRT the first time we used it. Now we have vacuumed the room recently with our old vacuum cleaner, we knew it was on it's last legs, but we were shocked by how much stuff was in the canister of our new Shark Vertex after JUST ONE VACUUMING! It's a little on the heavy side, but truly it's worth it for how well it works. I also chose it because it has a self-cleaning brushroll without those brushes that other vacuum cleaners have which collect every strand of hair and little threads that might be on the floor. I highly recommend the Shark Vertex. The photos are from the first time I vacuumed with the Shark Vertex. Shocking, I know!

I own multiple of these vacuums for my cleaning business. I also have multiple other models of sharks and the vertex is my favorite. I wait till these are on sale for right under $200, which is a really good price and very much worth it. The powered lift away makes it so you can remove the canister part and turn it into a stick vacuum so it gets under furniture. It has the power fins on the brush roller so hair doesn't get stuck on it like most other vacuums. Just make sure you pop off the front soft roller every once in awhile and clean underneath. All of the controls are at your thumb on the handle. So no bending down to turn it on or off or switch between thick/thin carpet or hard floors. The duo clean makes it pick up large items very easily. This vacuum has plenty of power too. It'll suck up a sock or even a pencil if you aren't careful! If you have been contemplating getting a new vacuum, this is definitely the one I would recommend and have recommended to all my family, friends and clients. You get a shark, you get a shark, everyone gets a shark.😉

I am calling this machine The Beast. I tried out my new Shark Vertex on a 6x9 area rug. The rug was vacuumed just 5-days previously with a Hoover WindTunnel. The Shark pulled a half-bin full of dust and hair out of the already vacuumed rug! Please see the pictures of the bin after doing only the rug. Then there is the DUO cleaner used on the wood floors. The Duo foam brush does actually make the wood look cleaned, as advertised! Suction? I saw the vacuum pull in pet hair from 4-inches to the side the unit. Something the replaced Hoover could never boast. Manuevering? They should call this the Hammer Head. The head can turn 90-degrees left or righ with a twist of the wrist. This was so helpful around furniture. Look this is only my first use, so keep that in mind. But after struggling to clean pet hair with the poorly designed Windtunnel, I am extremely impressed. Don't hesitate to try the Shark.

The suction is amazing! It makes our carpets look and feel so clean. To test the quality, I vacuumed our carpets with our old vacuum (a Bissell) and then went over the same area with this Shark and the shark picked up a lot of dirt. The Shark made it seem like the Bissell didn’t even do anything. The only downside is the Shark doesn’t have a retractable power cord like our Bissell did.

I just moved into my place and i have a dog and i just moved into my place and i have a dog with very thick coursed carpet . Today was my first time using it, and I can honestly say that the power on this vacuum is very strong. It sucked up a lot of debris and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. You can feel the power in the vacuum and it's so easy to handle and lightweight for how big it is.

Super powerful vacuum. Self-cleaning brush roller works beautifully. Floor height adjustment on the handle is the best feature. Pulled a full canister of dust immediately after vacuuming with a Dyson. I have two dogs, this keeps the carpets clean.

Is this the perfect vacuum cleaner? No, but I love it anyway! The great things that make me love this vacuum are as follows: 1. The suction of the Shark Vertex is amazing! It has the strongest suction of any vacuum I have ever used. 2. It is a upright vacuum that transforms into a canister vacuum with a push of a button. The pod lifts away from the powered floor nozzle. 3. Easy to empty dust bin. You push one button and the dust bin releases from the vacuum, and you push another button and the dust bins bottom door opens to empty debris. 4. The 30 foot cord. 5. DuoClean brush rollers leave hardwood floors, and carpet looking like new! 6. The Shark Vertex is a cool looking vacuum. 7. The attachments are easy to use; however, here is where the negative comes in and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The hose on this unit, and other Shark premium vacuums is too short and causes the vacuum to be less functional as a canister. I truly wish Shark would make an electrified hose for this vacuum that is at least 10-12 feet in length. I like to dust with my vacuum and a longer hose is a must when tackling this chore! The hose does stretch, but doesn't stretch long enough to make a real difference. When stretching the hose to reach tall shelves, etc. the vacuum tends to either lunge forward, or fall over depending on where the vacuum is placed. A longer hose would provide me much more freedom to move about while using the Vertex in canister mode. Thats the only negative that I find with this otherwise amazing machine. I love the power the Shark Vertex has, and I love the way it cleans! If your in the market for a new vacuum cleaner that is reasonably priced, and cleans like there is no tomorrow then check out the newest vacuum from Shark! The Vertex Duoclean!

I want to first say that I have 3 large dogs in my home, I have a ton of pet hair. That alone requires a good bit of cleaning daily. This vacuum is so heavy, it's hard for me to hold onto going forward %26 pull backward. I vacuumed my entire home %26 by the end of it my neck, arm, %26 hand was burning. Here is a list of pros and cons. Pro: the suction is amazing, the duo-clean really does a great job picking up the hair. The power lift away allows for cleaning under beds, tv stand, under the couch. The light is super helpful is seeing where the hair/dirt is. The amount of hair that I was able to get up is amazing, but any good vacuum will do that. Cons: The weight of this vacuum is unbearable. The design of the handle is not great. The on %26 off switch is on the handle as well as hard floor, carpet mode, and thick carpet mode, which makes it easy to turn on %26 off but the button is hard to push. I have a blister on the bend of my thumb from holding the handle. Next, the suction.. The suction is great, but once you change from hard floor to carpet the vacuum wants to pull you. This vacuum is hard to navigate, it doesn't swivel good. I caught myself several times just picking the vacuum up to pivot where I wanted to go. I am a lover of the shark lift away, so I figured this would be similar.. It isn't. You cannot adjust the suction amount whether it be very powerful or less powerful.

The product did not come with the attachment complete from the factory as described on the box and in the manual. I had to call and activate my warranty with Shark in order to receive the pet tool that did not come with the box from the factory like it was supposed to. Always video yourself and take pictures of opening the package to prove that the company didn't include what you paid for. After a couple weeks I did receive the pet tool that should have been included in the box.

Walmart sold me as new and sent me an open-box vacuum. The package was poorly closed, plastic parts with scratches and dirt, the outlet plug was bent. I am very disappointed and returning to get a replacement. I hope this time they can give me a brand new vacuum.
