These clippers are extremely stiff. They came well oiled and appear good quality, but they don't close very easily. I've had other clippers that required less effort to use. The picture in the listing showed gloves, but I didn't receive any.

They are not as sharp as I expected and they only cut through very thin stems. I have already bent them. I thought I would be able to use them on my little tree branches. Not so much. I will try again.

this item was very hard to use cause the handle is too wide for my hand. they were too wide for my husband's hand too. hurts my hand. the blades were fine and I would have kept if the handles were made differently. my old ones I had, you can see the comparison in the handle. old ones just gave out. I'm sorry these didn't work out.
