It’s a heavy duty sharpie. It will tattoo any surface you write on.
These Sharpie Industrial permanent markers are much better than the standard Sharpie permanent markers, if you need the markings and text to hold up and last for a long time. I use them professionally to label telephone & data cabling, and the termination blocks that it goes on. The ink used in them holds up MUCH better in severe conditions (sunlight exposure, weather, and hot temperatures) than the standard Sharpie ink does in similar conditions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This marker are better in the field than the standard Sharpie. Fade resistance, better weather durability.
They dry fast and are pretty good at keeping the ink where you put it without any smudging or leaving ink on your hand. I would say the industrial are more powerful and have a “stronger” smell than the original ones (and come in less colors).
Marker is good to use on labels. I used on cups in different materials such as plastics, glasses, or metals. Very hard to wipe off. But if you made a mistake and would like to erase it, using 70% any kind of alcohol, spray on it, leave for 30 secs then wipe. Done. 😊
They work great as always. I needed two or three. Industrial was all they had so I can’t speak on them working in high heat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived quickly .. performs as expected ... great price
Having used them for a decade, I keep a stock of Sharpies for a variety of things: office, labels, construction, blackening, etc. They mostly work well, but sometimes have a dryout problem. I've started making sure the caps are tight, though I usually just get another pen because I really don't like when tools don't work. I'd still consider them a great product for the $1/pen price. I also remember my mother using them in the hospital/clinic labs for labeling and notes. It's also a bonus that the drying ink has little fumes.
We use these Sharpie Industrial Fine Point markers for construction & they’ve never let us down. Super durable and the ink holds up really well, even in tough conditions. I like that they write clearly on pretty much anything, wood, metal, plastic, you name it. The smell is there like any permanent marker, but it’s not overwhelming. Packaging is solid too, keeps them together and easy to grab when needed. Just a great marker that always does the job.
