Sharpie Metallic Permanent Markers, Fine Point, Assorted Metallic, 3 Count

I make wine and rather than going to the trouble of making labels, I used the silver pen straight on the bottle. Wrote the type of wine, year, and VOBA 13 Months on each bottle. VOBA is short for virgin oak barrel aged. I did 5 1/2 cases and there was no sign that the pen was close to empty. It was easy to use, looked good, dried almost immediately, and when I want to reuse the bottles for another wine it should come off a lot easier than scraping labels. I haven't tried all the colors yet, but I don't have any reason to think the others won't write as well. Perhaps some have purchased old stock, or the cap wasn't put on securely, or like one reviewer wrote maybe the pen was stored with the top in a downward position. An excellent product at a very good price and free delivery. Couldn't ask for more.

Marking black plastic take-out food containers, that you carryout from restaurants after dinner. When you date and put name on container, you'll save time opening them all up to see who's leftovers they were....and if "date-wise" foods still edible!!

The pen has precision control for filling in, and the ink saturates the paper. My students love the metallic color.

these metallic markers are great for personalizing gifts. They are great for making things look a bit classier.

I specifically bought these markers for the gold one. I used it to enhance a black, plastic box shaped like a treasure chest (also bought at Walmart). I enhanced all the "metal" parts on the box with the marker and then filled it with "gold" coins for a theme birthday party. Everyone thought I bought the chest like that, as the marker showed no overlapping marks once it dried, and it was a hit at the party.

I got these markers to write my kids name on dark colored clothing tags.

The colors are lovely, but I should have paid more attention to the thicknees of the tip! Fine is not really fine! It would have been much better if I could have found the ultra fine! Guess I'd better start looking now, so I'll have them in time for next Christmas!

These are my favorite metallic markers that for the last 6 years have been a great disappointment. It doesn't matter what stores, not even art stores, that sells them, the are dry, spotty and not the vibrant beautiful flowing ink markers they once were. I've creative whole large paintings with these metallic markers in the past and not anymore. On this order, I hoped they would be like they used to be, they weren't. Find another company.
