I love the sharpie pens. I just don't like how much everything cost. It should be. Everything should be a little more inexpensive.

Great pens for the cost

Not the best advertisement - these don't work like regular writing pens. They work more like technical pens, meaning they should be held around 90° to the paper. This is probably why they might not feel right, or why the tip might be broken, because trying to use it for writing at a natural angle will not work well. Using pressure to compensate will only break the tip. For a beginner drawing or technical pen, they work quite well, though they do smear and bleed more than higher quality pens.

I use a lot of Sharpie pens for art projects the only complaint i have is when i try to apply this pen on top of gesso or even another color pen it stops the pen from working. As if it drys the pen out. So i go thru a lot of black felt pens.

I did not receive these items

the pigment is good and the smear proof is on point...that being said the tip split and became all splinter-y after 2 days of use....iwas so disappointed in the quality of the tip ithrew them both away
