SheaMoisture African Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer, 2 Oz.

I have to say, I actually found a great product. This cream does NOT clog my oily skin nor does it cause additional breakouts. It appears that, gradually, it also clears the recent acne blemishes that I have on my face. I use this cream after using a black soap bar from another company that I have yet to use up. After cleaning my face (which happens every other night or two), I apply a small amount (a dab) of the cream to my forehead, cheeks and nose and rub it in. Using just a little is enough for me and makes the product last longer. In a wrap, this Shea Moisture face moisturizer is a really good product.

This is an amazing product, my daughter has had issues with her face that doctors couldn't help with medication. Using this with the Shea soap has restored her beautiful skin!

My most recent purchase has a slight grey about it, I less pasty texture but feels on my skin like a pinch of clay has been added to it. I have been using this product for five years and my skin was thankful for it. The new product leaves my skin dry and rough! Please return to the old formular

The item I purchased, and the item shown above, is not the item that arrived in my shipment. Advertisement includes tea tree oil, my moisturizer did not contain and was the new “lightweight” formula. Bait and switch!

I've been using this moisturizer for many years now. I stuck with it for 3 or 4 jars of the new formula, but have moved on to something else. The new formula feels like a lot of other moisturizers you can get on the market except doesn't seem to do it as well now that I have given a couple of other moisturizers a chance. When using the old formula of this product, I could never find anything that kept control of the oil on my face while moisturizing nearly as good. I'd jump back to this product in a second if they were to decide to release the old formula again as the norm.

I've used this product since I was in high school. I've never had clearer skin. HOWEVER! their new version of it is not it! I started breaking out again for the first time in over 5 years! The only thing that changed in my life was this product! Please please please go back to the other way of making it. The white fluffy version was my favorite this new silky version is terrible!

Smells good. Texture is thick when rubbing it on face. Doesn’t seem to even keep it moisturized. By the time I’m off work my skin is dry again. And I think it’s making my face break out. Will stop using before my face looks terrible
