SheaMoisture African Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer, 2 Oz.

I have to say, I actually found a great product. This cream does NOT clog my oily skin nor does it cause additional breakouts. It appears that, gradually, it also clears the recent acne blemishes that I have on my face. I use this cream after using a black soap bar from another company that I have yet to use up. After cleaning my face (which happens every other night or two), I apply a small amount (a dab) of the cream to my forehead, cheeks and nose and rub it in. Using just a little is enough for me and makes the product last longer. In a wrap, this Shea Moisture face moisturizer is a really good product.

I recieved this in a #voxbox and I do have to admit it is much smaller than I thought it would be but a little goes a long way and I won't run out anytime soon. I have been using it for about two weeks now and I love it. I am seeing less break outs and my skin feels moisturized in the morning. I would definitely recommend this product. I received this product to try for free from Influenster. Ive used it quite a bit in my routine over the last couple weeks. Its very moisturizing and I prefer to use it at night since its a little heavy. A little product goes a long way and there were a few times when I was a little greasy about 5 hours after applying. For this reason I havent tried it under makeup as I feel it might fall/melt off. When I first opened the jar it smelled like I had walked into Lush. I wasnt a fan of the smell at first, but its not as harsh to me now. My skin can be sensitive at times, but I dont feel like this broke me out. I received this product free through influenster for testing purposes. First impression when opening the moisturizer was it smell nice. not too strong and definitely not a chemical smell. It is very thick, it feels like a thick lotion or clay. It applies very heavy on the skin and takes a while to work into the skin as if you applied a regular body lotion to your face. It sits heavy on the skin but eventually absorbs alittle more. I don't like how it feels like I have a layer of something over my skin. It doesn't feel natural. my biggest gripe would be the smell. It doesn't smell badly but usually fragrance in facial lotion is a no no. i found it to glide on nicely but I had to use quite a bit in order to feel like it moisturized. I used it after toner and hyaluronic acid serum. I would not purchase this for myself and giving the rest to my daughter who likes it. The item I purchased, and the item shown above, is not the item that arrived in my shipment. Advertisement includes tea tree oil, my moisturizer did not contain and was the new “lightweight” formula. Bait and switch!

This is very small and price is ridiculously high.
