My daughter and I had dandruff this has significantly decreased it. We see a flake here and there, also it makes out hair shiny and it feels fresh and clean.

My boyfriend has psoriasis on his scalp and I have dandruff and this helps tremendously. I accidentally bought a different shampoo once (the packaging from this brand looks super similar) and his scalp started to flare up again. When I purchased this one again, his scalp greatly improved so I know this works. We've both been using this shampoo (and the conditioner) for almost 2 years now and it works wonders. I am so happy to have found this! I use the pre treatment, shampoo, and conditioner. I have struggled with an irritated, flaky scalp for the longest time and nothing has worked. This worked immediately! After a few washes, my scalp is not flaky at all! My son also has a super sensitive scalp and I could not find anything to get rid of the flakes! He got a prescription from the doctor as well and it wasn’t working fast enough so we tried this and problem solved! Not only did it fix my scalp issues it also made my hair softer, fuller, and shinier. I wish it smelled better like herbal essences or something but it doesn’t stink so I’ll continue to use it. Forever! I will be buying this in bulk just in case it discontinues! Wonderful product!!

starting off I do like this brand and they have many other products that one can choose from. with 'this' product review...it barely has any lather so which leads to adding more to get lather....don't do, because it still won't lather. the price holy f.m of God not worth it if you're on a budget and want a lathering shampoo. but it is up to you if you want to test it or not...

I recently researched the uses of salicylic acid as it was new to me and started sparingly using products containing it, such as body and face washes. My scalp sometimes was prone to being dry and highly irritated in certain spots but would never see dandruff (from what i could see) so I decided to try this anyway and my irritation reduced a lot on my scalp and feels so much better and i used it 3 times so far. There isnt a lot of products containing salicylic acid where I reside. Im happy with the ingredients for now, and i dont see anything too harmful. Overall, it got the job done for now.

At first I thought it was great. I liked the way it cleaned my hair. Then quickly I noticed after a couple uses that it was actually creating more dandruff. I had little and now I have so much dandruff. I am itching so bad I have scabs on my head. Even more dandruff after using the pre wash treatment. It’s a no for me.

I bought this shampoo because ONE month ago because at the time it had 3% salicylic acid in it and was cheaper per ounce than T/Sal, which seems to be the only other product of its type. My dermatologist recommended that I use that for oily dandruff on my head. It was working BEAUTIFULLY....but THEN, Shea Moisture decided to COMPLETELY change the formula, making the active ingredient 1% pyrithione zinc. It is now basically just Head %26 Shoulders. Is this new formulation cheaper for them to produce or something? This is absolutely NOT the same product. I am extremely disappointed.

Supposed to be for dandruff, but actually has made my dandruff worse! My hair is quite tolerant of most shampoos but this one has made my hair brittle, yet my scalp is greasier. My husband even used this for 6 months with his dandruff being even worse. I finally switched to SheaMoisture Coconut Moisturizing shampoo and now have no dandruff! So it’s not the brand, only this kind! Don’t buy!
