My hair tangles and most shampoos doesn't even address the dryness of my scalp-not this SheaMoisture shampoo! The ingredients are so rich that you feel the tingling in your scalp and leaves your hair with a revived clean. Love this set and will restock for future use.

I was having trouble gliding my fingers through on the first wash. Maybe it was previous products that I used, or maybe it just really cleaned my hair. Either way, it worked well, paired nicely with the conditioner and I had my best and fluffiest blowout of the year.

The shampoo did feel slightly clarifying on my hair, which I noticed as a bit stripping on the first rinse — but it effectively removed buildup and left my scalp feeling clean. Infused with Apple Cider Vinegar, Vitamin B3 & and Salicylic Acid—the ingredients list for this system was definitely a bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never come across a Shea Moisture shampoo. I didn't like until this one. Don't get me wrong, the packaging is beautiful, and the shampoo comes out of the bottle nicely. Also, I like the fact that shampoo lathers up once it hits my scalp and I like the sensation it gives the scalp as well. What I did not like is once I washed my hair twice. And dried my hair I still had buildup on my scalp and in my locs. Also, I didn't like that my hair was super brittle and seemed to be snapping underneath my fingertips as I separated my dry hair. It is very clear that if you use this shampoo, you must and I repeat you must use a conditioner with it. This is a super clarifying wash because it does leave the hair squeaky, but it doesn't exactly get the scalp squeaky clean if you suffer from seborrheic dermatitis like I do. I think I will give this shampoo to my son. And I will not be purchasing this once the bottle is empty.

I bought this shampoo because ONE month ago because at the time it had 3% salicylic acid in it and was cheaper per ounce than T/Sal, which seems to be the only other product of its type. My dermatologist recommended that I use that for oily dandruff on my head. It was working BEAUTIFULLY....but THEN, Shea Moisture decided to COMPLETELY change the formula, making the active ingredient 1% pyrithione zinc. It is now basically just Head %26 Shoulders. Is this new formulation cheaper for them to produce or something? This is absolutely NOT the same product. I am extremely disappointed.

Supposed to be for dandruff, but actually has made my dandruff worse! My hair is quite tolerant of most shampoos but this one has made my hair brittle, yet my scalp is greasier. My husband even used this for 6 months with his dandruff being even worse. I finally switched to SheaMoisture Coconut Moisturizing shampoo and now have no dandruff! So it’s not the brand, only this kind! Don’t buy!

“I have used this product for two years and am very disappointed by the misleading description. The listing states it contains salicylic acid, however the formula has changed and it has been replaced with pyrithione instead. I will be returning the bottle I just purchased due to this inaccuracy.”
