I have to use a whole bunch cause I have a large Afro and wanted to make sure every bit of my hair was coated lol. It's smooth it's creamy and it does help work through a bit of my detangler as well while working into remove all of that annoying dandruff of mine. I find that leaving it in for like at least about 10 to 15 minutes. Does definitely give it more of a detangling effect in addition to helping with the hydration and the dandruff and also makes it very easy to comb thru with my detangling comb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For slip, I would give this conditioner a 6.6-7. I didn't get a huge slip feel but my hair did feel conditioned after rinsing. I didn't notice any dandruff or itch relief as maybe I didn't use it long enough. I wash every 2 weeks.

After washing my hair, it restored moisture and softness immediately without feeling too heavy—which made the system feel cohesive and well thought out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shea Moisture Dandruff + Itch Relief Conditioner pleasantly surprised me. First off, I love the color of the packaging. What I didn't like is the top of the bottle pump arrived broken. I also was a little confused with the directions on the back of the bottle I received which told me to rub the conditioner into my hair and scalp. It appeared to me the direction should be on the back of a shampoo bottle instead of a conditioner. But what surprised me is for this to just be a wash out conditioner. It did very well conditioning my locks in a short amount of time. I find that it's very necessary to use the conditioner if you're using this after the shampoo from the same line. Once my hair was dried, my locs felt wonderful and were manageable without unraveling my loc. I will continue using this conditioner from time to time.

I didn't feel or see that much difference in my hair after I used it. But the company does let u pay for this shampoo and conditioner on the United Heakthcare card it's oct eligible product u can purchase on your healthcare card if u have a card to use. So it saved me money so I didn't have to pay out of pocket cash for it. And it's ok product but not that good
