Shell Rotella T4 Triple Protection 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil, 3 Gallon

I was expecting box of three 1 gallon jugs. This is a single box with a plastic bag inside holding the oil. I don't care for the bag of oil. I always repurpose the old jug, after I use the oil for my used oil container. I haven't used this oil yet, but pretty sure there is no way to put my used oil back in it, and It won't be convenient for that anyway because I use this oil in a car that only holds 4.5 quarts at a time.

This is my first oil change using the "bag-o-oil" instead of the usual plastic gallon containers but it worked fine and I will probably do it again. The 12 quarts is just enough for my truck. The only downside is it's not convenient for recycling the oil as it is possible but very difficult to get the used oil back into the bag for disposal.

Oil is fine im just not used to oil in a bag . You got to be careful with it when pouring . Rather have it in jug . This was my first time buying it in this container.

This item came in a plastic bag, as 3 gallons of oil in a bag with spout and it didn't say that in description about that,,, same looking box I usually get 3 plastic jugs but not jugs

I needed 9 gallons of oil. Online it showed 1 box of gallon jugs x3. An hour before pickup an email stated they only had six available. Upon pickup the boxes contained a 3 gallon plastic bag with a spout for pouring. Very Inconvenient. Had to purchase the other 3 gallons needed from a different store.

We have used this oil in our tractors and trucks for many years. Although the price was a little better at walmart it wasn't worth the trouble. Buyer look at the way the oil is delivered. These are in large plastic bags with a spout like wine in a box.. They are supposed to be eco friendly. Not sure who thought about it but, when you drain 5 gallons out of a tractor, where do they expect you to put it. We always drain into a bucket and pour back into the empty bottles then take to recycling. You can't put that oil back into these. I hope Rotella doesn't continue this. They are also very difficult to pour when leaning over a front end loader. I will keep buying the oil but only if I can get in plastic jugs.

It was a fiasco. Ordered 3 three gallon containers of oil. Only two delivered. Was told to cancel 3rd. No refund. Three days later, after I had left that marina they delivered the third. Much more but am too pi__ed to keyboard about it Complete cluster ____.

its not what i asked for. at the minimum it should have been in 1 gallon jug. not 3 gallons in a plactic bag. its not usable in that container. will be returning to the store for a full refund. i had no clue oil came in a plastic jug and that is what i would be recieving.

When you scroll across the pictures, it literally shows gallon jugs, and nowhere in the description does it say anything different. What you receive is a big single floppy bag of oil in a box. I'm going to have to find some empty oil jugs to divide it up in, hopefully without making a huge mess..

The oil is great. It always has been but when I drain the oil out of my vehicle vehicles or tractors, I need someplace to put using this soft Pack plastic bag doesn't work. I need plastic containers to drop off the oil at the auto parts store or gas station.
