According to my son, this works as described. Worn during a Kuk Sool Won tournament. Direct blow to the fruit basket was received. Son stated all equipment was well protected. No bruised or damaged fruit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using these compression shorts, I’ve been extremely impressed! The first thing I love about these shorts is how comfortable the fabric is. I’m able to wear the shorts for extended periods of time without any issues. I have also been quite impressed by how well these shorts are designed to protect me during sports. I play football and am constantly exposed to dangerous falls and kicks. With the included cup, however, my lower extremities have been able to stay extremely protected. I have not experienced any pain in the groin area after experiencing falls or kicks after using the included cup. The cup is also well-constructed. It is made of super heavy-duty plastic. I also appreciate how well the cup fits into the shorts. It seems to be very snug and does not move around. I have also been quite impressed by how well the shorts breathe. I have noticed that I haven’t been as sweaty while using these shorts compared to my experiences prior to trying this product. Finally, I’ve really liked how well these shorts conform to my body shape. This allows me to stay active without having to worry about my clothing causing resistance. There honestly isn’t anything I dislike about these compression shorts! If you’ve been looking for a safe solution to keep you protected yet comfortable while you play your favorite sport, I would highly recommend these shorts!

They fit my 7 year old well. He’s 4’8” and 70 lbs and in size 10 cloths . They are a little loose in the legs but fit great around the waste and where it really counts. They don’t show under his white baseball pants.

Waist band is way to tight. otherwise fit great

I purchased three pairs of Shock Doctor compression shorts in the wrong size due to the misrepresentation of the size scale on the Walmart website. I tried to resolve this online, but not. I spoke with a man located in an offshore call center who did nothing but make excuses for why the clothing items that I purchased in a large size due to the misrepresentation of the size scale on the Walmart website could not be exchanged for the same item in a medium size. The item recived is the same as the one advertised. There are not 5 air flow vents. The youth and adult sizeds for the cups are actually the same. There is no variation. The sizing for the boxers is advertised as 26-32. The packaging itself states it is 30-34.
