This worked perfectly for what we needed. Hair kept clogging the drain. I just took this out of the package and placed it where the drain cover was and after every shower we picked up the middle piece and discarded the hair. This reasonably priced product saves us hours plunging the shower. Definitely worth it!

I usually have to pour drain cleaner down the tub at least once every 3 months. Since I have started using this product, I have not had to use any drain cleaner. My daughter and I both lose tons of hair when we shower, and it is great at catching the hair.

My old drain hair strainer “plug” stuck out of the drain and you couldn't step on it without hurting your feet. Walmart delivery dropped this thing off and I immediately threw the old one that was DISGUSTING away. I absolutely love how this one doesn't stick out so you don't hurt your feet while stepping on it. Also it catches hair I already cleaned it out. (See photos) Only downfall is the rubber silicone hair catcher is removable and my 1.5 year old somehow instantly figured that out so now I have to leave it out of the shower drain unless I'm taking a shower because she keeps stealing it. 😂 Other than that it's fantastic! I wish I would have bought this one years ago my feet are thanking me!

Catches long and short hair, as well as small items like hair pins and elastic bands. The center rubber trap makes cleaning it out very easy. Good quality stainless. One of ours is about two years old and used daily. Have bought them for all the other bathrooms since.

This is my 2nd purchase of this item. My original one was bought when I was browsing in WalMart looking for something to catch hair in my bath drain. I like this one because it not only has the hair catcher it has the stainless steel drain protector. This is so easy to use and I am always amazed at how much hair it collects. Since my tub is really old the original drain "thing'" was no longer working. I like that this strains out anything that couldn't go down the drain, looks great and works perfectly for my tub.

I highly recommend this. Everyone in our house has long hair clogging our shower drain constantly. We had to snake out our shower every couple of weeks. The Shower Shroom as completely stopped that issue! It's very easy to clean. I loved it so much that I ordered the Sink Shroom for the bathroom sink and it's excellent also. Highly recommend these two products.

Very easy to use, take it out of the package and drop it in the drain. Pretty easy to clean out the hair but if you have extra long hair, you may want to cut it to make it easier to take off the spool. I would also recommend removing the hair more frequently than they recommend. I do once a week.

OMG! If there were a 10 rating for this drain cover, I would rate it that. It is fantastic. The little plug in the center really does capture all the hair. And so easy to take off when shower is done. The metal is very smooth and flush with my shower floor. I was worried about steeping on it. I highly recommend this product!

I love this thing! It appears to catch all of the hair while you shower. I had no idea how much hair I was shedding each wash outside of what I caught in my hands myself. No wonder my drain was clogging so quickly! I was easily losing 2x what I thought. I highly recommend this strainer!

The only Shroom shapes are circles. The man who installed our walk-in shower put in a square drain opening. The largest shroom I could find did not cover the corners of the drain. bummer! Doesn't anyone prefer square mushrooms? sigh I am going to have to return this purchase for that reason. I think it's an excellent idea and looked forward to installing it promptly. No such luck!
