Item arrived 2 weeks before expected delivery date with all the assembly pieces in the box. Took about 25-35 minutes for me to assemble, the only tool I needed was a Phillips Screwdriver, everything else you could tighten by hand. The only wish is that the product would come with the bolts to assemble to the bed frame, but other that that, the headboard is beautiful and definitely sets the tone in the room. Definitely would recommend getting.

Okay, so its a beautiful headboard and super super easy to put together. It comes with all the hardware to put the headboard together and the lamps on (which are the PERFECT brightness for night reading). Oh and it comes with two USB ports that you can attach however you want to the headboard. You just have to buy the bolts to attach the headboard to the bed frame. Its totally sturdy and super cute and Im really glad I bought it because it was such a dang good deal.

I love this headboard. My only regret is that it won't attach to my bedframe. The beefcake does not have holes to bolt frame to headboard.

We had been waiting for the king size, whitewash version of this head board to come in stock for some time. We were notified on 3/23 that it was in stock. By the time we ordered it, there was only one left. The web site indicated it would be delivered by 4/07. We were so surprised when FedEx emailed on 3/24 to notify that it was on the way. It was delivered on 3/26. My wife was taking a walk when it was delivered, so I decided to surprise her with it assembled by the time she got home. The box is heavy, about 90lbs and it is long. Although the box was a little banged up, the contents were well protected. There was a lot of dense styrofoam throughout the box and the headboard itself was wrapped in fabric cloth. Assembly was simple. I laid each vertical piece face down on the floor after putting the bolts through the pre-drilled holes. The bolts and wing nuts are very beefy. Then I lined up the pre-drilled holes in the cross pieces and loosely tightened the wing nuts until all pieces were in place. Then I tightened each wing nut all the way. Then I stood the headboard up and screwed the 8 wood screws into the pre-drilled holes on the headboard. Assembly was finished, minus the lights as I did not want to put he lights on until the headboard was in place. Light assembly was simple. The mounting holes are pre-drilled. There are 2 bolts per light. Slip the bolts into the pre-drilled holes and tighten the wing nuts. The lights are battery operated and batteries are included. They are small LED puck lights that require a 1/4 turn to remove and put back on. The lights are bright enough to read with, and the light pattern is tight enough to not annoy your spouse. The headboard also included a 2 port USB charger that gets attached to the headboard to charge mobile devices. We did not attach the USB ports yet. Not sure that we will. We will probably use it somewhere else in the house though. The only thing I was disappointed with is that it is not real wood and I don't think it is engineered wood as listed in the description. It seems to me to be more like MDF. I've never heard MDF referred to as engineered wood, so I was expected something more like real wood especially since the description mentions wood grain. It's much nicer than pressboard though. The headboard includes about 9 pre-drilled holes for mounting the headboard to a bed frame. Our bed frame isn't really designed to handle a headboard, so I will most likely attach the headboard to the wall.

The boxes is very long. It looks like it had been tried to be bent in half. I guess if we could somehow get it and not have it shipped it may have made it OK but two of the boards were damaged. I'm still waiting for a replacement.

product arrived damaged and directions were just pictures. packaged with Foam but pieces were not separated. tried to go online but nothing. I left a message for seller but nothing yet. will follow up with Walmart customer service.
