Boyd Sleep 14" Queen Size Metal Platform Bed Frame with No-Tool Assembly, Textured Anti-Slip Surface

But I bounced up and down on this frame. No 'give', no squeaking, no 'traveling' across the carpet. (Got the Queen size). Came in a reasonably fast time. Box was intact, however, there was no 'tool' included to tighten the 4 bolts/nuts, whatever you call them. No problem. I just used a small wrench I had. SUPER easy to put together, by myself. Also, I took the frame out of the box and carried each half upstairs by myself. I'm in my 60's. (So it's not overly heavy). But a STRONG frame. All metal. No plastic parts. My only concern was that the slippery mattress(not using a box spring) would slide off the slick metal frame when someone sat/laid down on the mattress. Didn't want the mattress to end up on the floor! I ordered a "non-slip mattress pad". Basically all it is is a large sheet of that puffy non-slip shelf liner stuff that was all the rage a few years ago. You could basically get a few rolls at the Dollar Store and roll it across the frame, then put the mattress on it. Same thing. But I was too lazy to do that. So I ordered the large sheet of it. Worth the $20.00. Other than that, I can't recommend this frame enough. What a great value.

The bed frame is very sufficient. It is basically no assembly, only takes a couple of minutes to set up. I can see it lasting many years if not a life-time or beyond. I am posting an image to show you the BHG bins and smaller bins will fit under the bed. I think those BHG bins are about 13" in height. Also I have a couple of the smaller Sterlite totes under the frame too. So if you are needing some storage area, this frame works pretty well for that too.

We ordered this frame along with the 10.5 cool gel memory foam mattress. I have never had a bed frame before that did not require having a box spring as well. But because of the way this frame is made, you do not need a box spring. We love the frame and how easy it was to put together. Very sturdy. Am going to be purchasing another in the near future for my guest bedroom and my daughter's room.

I looked at a multitude of Bed Frames that all required assembly, but with this unit all you do is unfold it and tighten the nuts on the 4 supports and presto you have a sturdy frame that has plenty of valuable storage (18' high) underneath. I was a little concerned that I ordered the Premier brand and the box and instructions had Boyd Specialty Shop logo on them- but what I received was identical to the picture and the specifications on the website.

I have had consistent back pain as I have 15 month twins I carry around. My typical frame with box springs just was cutting it anymore and I could not afford a new mattress so I decided to try this frame. The first morning after getting up I had a different back pain and I knew it was from getting the proper support that I had needed! The second night no more pain! I now sleep through the night and wake up feeling rested! You do not need the box springs with this frame as it is high enough and is perfect to store items under.

I purchased a double bed platform for a handicapped relative. It was quickly put together and the bed was remade. The relative immediately laid down and said it was comfortable. Said she had an excellent nights sleep. I purchased two of the king size platforms for other relatives. These were given as gifts and have not been put together yet. Relatives are looking forward and hoping the platforms may help relieve some of their back pain. Delivered to my door, speedy delivery.

This is a great option for the price. We are using the king size with a memory foam mattress. Used all of our budget on the mattress, so we didn't have much for the frame. Hidden by a dust ruffle, it looks like a typical bed. The only downside was the box was completely destroyed when it was delivered. I have never seen a worse looking box. Holes all over, taped together like Frankenstein. There were a lot of scratches but it wasn't damaged enough to return it. I would suggest having it delivered to the store. Perhaps they would be kinder to it that way.

OK when putting this together it looked like I had made a mistake, but now I know I did not. It doesn't look like anything we had ever used before. Turns out it is very sturdy, and noise free. I love the fact you don't have to use a box spring, and all the extra storage space under this frame. By not using a box spring, it does make your mattress feel very firm, no matter what kind of mattress you have. You do need to use a bed skirt, to hide all the metal legs, but wow all the space for storage!!! If you want a bed that's supper soft, that you fall into, this is not the frame for you. We love ours, and plan to purchase this type of frame for every bed, in the house. The price is so good we will be able to do that, no problem.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I purchased this frame after reading such good reviews. But those reviews were misleading. This frame is not good. From day one the legs were unstable. I was finally able to keep the legs up without them sliding. After a few weeks of continuing fixing the sliding legs my bed collapsed while I was lying on it. There is no stability. Also for couples this frame makes a rocking sound with movement. I would recommend you pass on considering purchasing this frame. I'll be returning mine.

When I purchased this item I was excited about the price. The features claim it holds up to 3000lbs yet when my frame was shipped to me the frame was bent. I'm not sure if Fed EX threw my package around in the truck but it was damage when I took it out the box. When I pushed down on the metal it was bending. The material is flimsy and I don not believe for one second it can hold 3000lbs on a consistent bases. Also the hooks that hold the frame together kept unhooking when I tried to slide the bed with the mattress on top of it.So basically you have to take the mattress off the bed to slide the bed over a few inches for comfort. To me that is so inconvenient. Also the edge of the bed was not safe. I could picture hitting my shins on the edge of the bed every time I needed to make up the bed. I returned this item to the store the next day and had to wait 5 business days for my money back, which made me even more upset. I have a bad experience with this item. Good luck.
