Silhouette Chipboard 12x12" Grey

I wasn't even aware that you could buy something like this without going to the hardware store and having them cut it. Plus they bring it to you??!! Yes, please!! I love this product because there's so many things you can do with it. Craft wise, as well as art, and things needed around the house. I definitely intend to buy more in different sizes as well. It was a great deal. I think this product is well worth the cost. I find it of good quality for what I need it for.

Have used this lightweight chipboard for years. Needed more for a project. Came in great packaging to prevent damage.

This chipboard cuts so clean on the Silhouette. I love all the possibilities for its use.

I bought to make my scrapbooks. It is a good material. Happy with the product.

This chipboard is great if you want to cut it with your Silouette, thin and smooth. If you want it for chipboard books it is way to thin.

I love my silhouette and although the accessories are not the cheapest I usually try them first and overall I have been pleased with silhouettes quality not so with this product. I have been using recycled cardboard (cereal boxes, old notebook backs ect) for my 3d designs like pencil holders and small boxes. I finally broke down and ordered actual chipboard and I will be able to use this to ad some dimension to cards and maybe gift bags but I am disappointed. I guess I was expecting notebook chipboard or at least the stiffness of a cereal box and although it does have some thickness to it, it is not rigid at all very floppy, 110lb card stock though not as thick is more rigid. I hope this information helps others make an informed purchase. I will next try the grafix brand medium weight chipboard, its slightly cheaper, I will review and compare to it the silhouette chipboard to help out others.

So very flimsy, I have card stock sturdier than this chipboard. Will never buy this again.

This was not the construction weight I was looking for. It will do for journals and memory books - small and light weight type - no more than a few ounces. I am going to try to find a heavier weight - got it here before. Wish me luck!
