It has a nice feel to it and should last a long long time, however it is not a perfect fit on my 36 inch grill. It will probably work ok and accomplish what I need it to, but it is a little large and so has excess room which doesn't allow it to cover the flattop tightly allowing dirt and stuff to get up underneath.
The mat arrived folded up in a small package. It is now full of creases that won't come out. I have tried heating it with a hair dryer and soaking it in very hot water. They just won't come out.
