It was advertised. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was I thought the firm handles would make it sturdier but it's just as floppy as any other silicone mat.

When I got it it had a horrible smell so I washed it a couple times on even put it through the dishwasher and was not able to get the smell out so I ended up throwing it away it would have been perfect if it didn't have such a strong chemical smell
