SimplISafe Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera

The quality of the image and sound is amazing and honestly can replace my existing camera. I would highly recommend this security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Simplisafe security system since 2018. Upgrading to the new wireless smart alarm indoor security camera has given me peace of mind. The image quality, battery life and sleek design of the camera all provide a high quality upgrade from the original equipment I installed. You can see and hear clearly, easily review footage and share it, and communicate through the device. I feel so much safer when at home alone and when traveling away from home, knowing I can check in on the house whenever I want to. I also check in on my pets periodically throughout the day and have been able to utilize the “people vs animal” detection setting, so my dogs playing in the living room doesn't trigger a false alarm. I recommend Simplisafe cameras to any homeowner looking for a reliable, high quality security solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Smart Alarm indoor camera integrated seamlessly into our SimpliSafe system! It replaced an existing camera, and the most immediate detail I noticed is that there's a much wider field of view. It has a great range of motion for precisely positioning the angle you want to view, and can be permanently mounted to a surface or left free standing, providing full flexibility in placement. At the most, it took 5 minutes to install and position. Which was a huge improvement over the model it replaced. It also offers the added benefit of allowing SimpliSafe to contact you through the camera if the alarm is tripped, which is great when you have kids that don't pay attention to whether or not the alarm is on. The battery life is also vastly improved from previous models. After more than a full week of a very active household, it still reads as 100% charged, which I cannot say for an older camera we have that needs new batteries every few days. We're extremely grateful to @Influenster and @Simplisafe for providing this camera for free in exchange for a review!

I had an indoor camera in my living room already so I added this downstairs where the bedrooms are. It only starts recording if the alarm is triggered so there is privacy. It also lets me keep an eye on my cats when I'm out by manually checking the camera on the app. All in all it blends seamlessly and is a key part of the security system. Well worth having.

It was easy to install and add to our coverage. You do hsve to charge it every couple of weeks because it is wireless but the quality of picture is very aolid. Would highly recommend if you are already a Simplisafe customer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wireless camera is perfect for areas of the home that don't have easy access to an outlet. I put this in our master closet and it blends in nicely with the boxes I have stored on high shelves. The setup was a little confusing as I initially chose the wrong camera type, but once I figured out my error, connecting the new camera to my existing system was a breeze. I like the long battery life (~3mo) and it's easy to see the battery status in the app, although I don't think I would install this in an area that would be difficult to take down the camera when it needs to be charged. Would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is very easy to set up and I love that it has a rechargeable battery which can last up to 3 months so I don't have to see another cable on the wall. The camera quality is decent. It has two way audio which is useful for communicating. The downside to this camera is that a subscription is required with the company which is not bad since that's something I already have.

This smart alarm indoor camera is great because it is wireless and conspicuous. Gives us peace of mind to have that extra layer of security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this camera for free from SimpliSafe and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I set up the camera and at first, I was not getting notifications for motion alerts, but after resetting the app settings, the alerts started coming. It seems like the main perks of having this camera come only with the paid subscriptions because it will not record motion unless you pay. The camera quality is really very good but I am disappointed to say that Simplisafe's app is just not up to par and has a lot of bugs. It is dragged down by a flawed app. The notification system could be better. In order for alarms to make a sound when do not disturb is on, all notifications from the app have to be enabled during dnd therefore any camera triggers will wake you up at night. If notifications are not enabled, then you will not know when the camera is triggered. I am thankful to have received this product but overall disappointed by Simplisafe's app and interfaces and we will not be continuing to use this camera.
