SimplISafe Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera

I love that the wireless camera has such a clear picture plus we can move it and not depend on an outlet! It's been such a great addition to our system, and I love being able to check in on our house when we're out!

I had an indoor camera in my living room already so I added this downstairs where the bedrooms are. It only starts recording if the alarm is triggered so there is privacy. It also lets me keep an eye on my cats when I'm out by manually checking the camera on the app. All in all it blends seamlessly and is a key part of the security system. Well worth having.

The quality of the image and sound is amazing and honestly can replace my existing camera. I would highly recommend this security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for an honest review. We have really liked having this camera in our kitchen! The image is clear and having no wires means we can have it on top of our cabinets without worrying about a power outlet. It was easy to set up through the app. Taking one star off because it takes a bit of time for our phones to connect to it when we want to view it live. We have a plug in SimpliSafe camera that loads much quicker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The security camera is boxed neatly and cleanly and includes documentation on how to set the camera up and a USB cable. Unfortunately, there is no brick to plug the USB into the wall. Once plugged in, it took about 5 hours to fully charge. Setting the camera up was a bit of a challenge. My system was able to locate the camera upon following the directions, but the camera is slow to respond. After setting up the camera, I noticed that the video is very clear. However, it is slow to wake, which poses a problem if you are quickly trying to check it for activity. None of the documentation has any indication about the safety of the camera. I have concerns that it can easily be accessed by hackers. Until I get a definite answer on its safety, I won't use it.

But I am not a fan of this, for the simple fact it has issues often. It goes offline most times and I don't have the time to keep trying to troubleshoot daily. When it is working picture and sound are great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from influnester. The camera doesn't come with a cord or charger and it wasn't easy to add to my account. Basically I couldn't get it to work for me. I love SimpliSafe products but this was not a win for me.
