SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro

It was very easy to install and it is much better than the old doorbell camera we had. Clear picture and fast response. Excellent price and my doorbell works now. We are very pleased.

I bought this to replace in older SimpliSafe doorbell that had foggy glass (view). The view in this is perfect. Buying it from WalMart was aHUGE savings for me…thank you, WalMart. I was concerned that this was about 2/3 the price of the same product on Amazon - I can't figure out why. This is a brand new item, not refurbished.

Be prepared for the relatively small footprint of this doorbell - consider that you will likely either have to patch or put something behind it because it is barely half the wide of a normal house doorbell and 2/3 the width of a RING bell. That being said, fairly easy to install and setup once you decipher the instructions (scan the QR code the simplysafe app shows you and not the one on the doorbell LOL) and if you need to tilt it to the side just contact simplysafe and they will send you a horizontal angle (about 15 degrees to one side) totally free of charge. The bell comes with a vertical angle (about same 15 degrees up or down).

Replaced same that was 5 years old. Camera quit working.

It's a good product. I like that if you have a base station the doorbell rings with it like a chime. It clear. Only flaw is my Internet keeps cutting out. I don't think it's this products fault

It was packaged well and was undamaged. It took less than an hour to install and setup. It is working like it should. I've only had it for a couple of days, but, so far, I am very pleased with the item.

Resetting should not require unscrewing the bell. Getting the right sensitivity to avoid either false or missed notifications too difficult

I have the Simplisafe system and needed to replace my doorbell camera. This main unit was reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. I only gave it a 3 because it arrived in a box that had clearly been opened and was missing several items. The white doorbell face, the special screw driver and screw that you need to secure the unit to the wall were all missing. Also, the regular screws you need to attach the base to the wall were gone. Luckily, I had my original unit and the parts that were missing from the new doorbell. I have it installed and everything is working fine.

Doesn't work. Called Simply Safe and sent me a controller for my doorbell and still didn't work. Will return.
