I was not raised using spices other than pepper, chili powder, garlic salt. A few years ago I started using new recipes and ran across 1 that called for curry. I have used this since and absolutely love it. Curry will make most any dish taste better.

I like this Simply Organic Curry Powder the best of any curry powder I have tried. Some of the other brands leave out the cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. I use about 1 Tablespoon full, then taste after adding the coconut milk and add more at that time if I want. A little sugar causes the spice flavors to blend.

This seasoning powder makes soups, green vegtables, taste so much better, and it only takes a small sprinkle or dash over your food dishes for good flavoring.

This curry powder is the best. Even though it's more expensive than Swanson's brand, I'd rather buy Simply Organic's curry as it is a bit better; and Swanson's still insists on packaging their herbs in plastic.

Makes a huge variety of foods -- lamb, fish, soups, rice, salads and so forth -- taste sweet and tangy; adds exotic Far Eastern aroma. The product is a bit pricy but I think worth it (I wait to buy during promo discount sales) when you factor in the extraordinary flavor it imparts, this brand's being organic and herbal components of curry that are extremely beneficial to health.
