Easy to use. Tiny little cubes that are great. Of note, this machine does not keep the ice cold. Once you make the ice it needs to be removed from the bin and stored in your freezer. The suggested time is the start of the icemaking, maybe thirty minutes or so to fill the little bin. Perfect for one or two people, will not keep up with a party.

This icemaker is so awesome. The ice is PERFECT for chewing. The ice begins to form quickly and is very easy to use. Also it looks chic on my countertop.

Very good so far. My only major complaint is that you have to drain the excess or wasted water manually from the bottom which is cumbersome and inconvenient. It’s not like my better ice machine that reuses any water that builds up from the ice starting to melt before you get to it. Since this is smaller ice there’s actually A LOT of water that builds up fast:/

I waited some time to give my review of this product. I received the Simzlife Nugget Ice Maker in April of 2026. I loved the size of both the machine and the ice. Ice tastes really refreshing and the machine is very quiet. Now after owning the ice maker for 4 months it has now become a loud nuisance. What I mean by this is is when turning on the maker and it starts making its ice as usual after about 20-30 minutes it begins making a noise so loud that I immediately have to turn it off. The sound sounds like it is stressed like a its crying out loud sobs. I clean my machine every 2 weeks throughly as the pamphlet said to do. So, now I'm dissatisfied in my purchase. I asked customer service at Wal-Mart store and the worker was so rude saying "It's not our problem." What because I asked a worker while they were standing outside doing absolutely nothing was too busy to be bothered.

It says it made 33 pounds a day and that’s a lie it made 13.5 pounds yesterday. Well that was in 12 hour time so a little over a pound an hour. If you have more than one or two people, it won’t keep up. Very disappointed. I should’ve bought ice crusher instead of ice machine cause it’s the size of the ice that I wanted. Trying to decide now if I’m gonna send it back probably I will. If this was a $89 ice machine, it’d be OK but it was $189 and I bought a three year service warranty which was stupid cause if I send it back, I lose the warranty anyway.

The ice maker was delivered on its side. Anything with a compressor should be delivered upright. Walmart put the icemakers original box, that had ^^ (handle upright) instructions clearly stated, inside another box that DID NOT have these instructions to handle it properly. I am sure the oil in the compressor has spilled into places it should not be. I am leaving it upright for 24 to 48 hours before plugging it in. If it does not work at that time I will request a refund.

This item worked great for approximately a month and a half. After that it stopped working. The machine started making a horrendous noise and said there was no water in it when the reservoir was full. I am currently waiting for a reply from the seller on how they plan to rectify the situation either via a replacement or refund.

If I could give this zero stars then I would. I knew going into this that it was not refrigerated inside so the ice would obviously melt if left for a period of time. However, the ice is so wet coming out that it’s literally like slush. If that’s what I wanted, I would have ordered a machine to shave ice. Definitely not what I expected and am sorely disappointed in the product. It will be going back tomorrow for a refund.

Follow the instructions closely. Let the unit rest upright, 24 hours prior to setting up. Ran through the setup and cleaning cycle. Ran it through the cleaning cycle as instructed. Made one batch of ice. And then it quit manufacturing ice. Ran it through the cleaning cycle again. Never ever started making ice again. I am returning this to Wal Mart.
