SINGER HD6600 Heavy Duty Computerized Sewing Machine Metal Plastic Intermediate

The digital stitch options are nice and it can handle heavyweight fabrics. It is a little on the bulky size so youll need an adequate size surface to work on. Cant wait to sew some more projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled with my Singer Heavy Duty 6600C Sewing Machine! I have always owned a Singer sewing machine as did my late mother. She always told me that if I wanted quality, get a Singer. This Heavy Duty 6600C solves so many of my problems! My husband is forever tearing his pockets on his jeans and my regular Singer struggled to keep up. This jewel of a sewing machine makes easy work of it! It has such a smooth feed and stitch. It has every type of stitch that you could possibly want or need. My absolute favorite stitch is the #16. It does 3 stitches in one. It isn't just a heavy duty machine. It has adjustable presser foot pressure, you can also sew very lightweight sheers, and the stainless steel bed plate allows fabrics to glide over the machine with ease. I have been wanting to reupholster some outdoor cushions and footstools but was dreading the wear that it would take on my old machine. I look forward to taking that project on now! My husband also wears suspenders that tend to stretch out and I have to take them up. That use to be a chore but this wonderful machine makes it so extremely simple and quick to handle. This machine comes with so many extras that will leave you needing nothing. I also love the pull out guide that shows what needle and foot you need for certain sewing patterns. I tried to load pictures of my favorite patterns but they were too large to load. Thank you Singer for always providing such quality in your machines. I will forever be a Singer fan!!

I sew every day. I repair garments and I make quilts and home decor. This machine sews as fast as I need it to, and it doesn't skip stitches. The decorative stitches are fun and I am able to adjust them to the size I want. Yesterday I made a pillowcase with applique and faux fur. It sewed through all the layers and made fast work of a fun project.

I love this thing. It's a bit sensitive on the pedal and buttons but I'm adjusting. Powerful enough.

I have had many machines (and still do have many) so I know a good machine when I sew on it. This is an amazing buy for the quality and features it has. I'm loving it. Great for a beginner or an expert. Really nice for quilting too. What are you waiting for?

It was easy to learn and to get ready I love my singer, sewing machine. It is so easy to learn, and it has many futures on it. I look forward to using it for years and years to come come on everybody Jon the routine by a singer, sewing machine you will be glad you did it.

I really like the machine However, there are no instruction . Only one page with directions how to thread it. Did not explain what the buttons on the front do, how to set for other stitches eg.zig zag. I had to resort to a Y Tube video for demonstration and information

It was a Christmas present from my husband and I just opened it today. It does not have the package of tools, such as feet, thread holders, the upright thread stand AND I cannot thread my bobbin. It whirls but the stand you place the bobbin in to make it turn DOESNT, is it too late to get an exchange if not a refund? The thread stopper, pic%234 is the stopper from my old machine. My husband also said this machine did not come with foam, so it may have been a returned machine. I have need sewing since 18 years old, so it may know how they work and this one isn't.

No bang for your buck. This machine is not good, the thread keeps getting jammed. For $300.00 this should have been capable of sewing through anything. It will bird nest under your fabrics and the bobbin keeps getting locked/tangled. The see through casing is pretty cool though to see how much thread is on the bobbin. This unit is for BASIC needs nothing more. I was highly disappointed. Save your money for a JUKI or a another industrial machine. The Delivery was quick with up to date updates of when it's coming. It was packaged well, The machine was simple to put together and use. This unit was stated as a heavy duty machine….. it isn't. The exterior makeup housing is plastic and the gears I'm sure in the inside are metal. This will not handle thick materials, vinyl/leather. This is more so for softer type materials. O feel it used outside of that, you risk breaking this poor machine. It's a no for me. Thanks-

i disliked that there was NO USERS MANUAL. This review might have been glowing, but i couldn't figure out how to run it. even with my 30 years as a seamstress, all the bells and wistles aren't any good if you dint know how to use them. the cats that comes with it says you need to download the users manual, but it does not say from where. i searched and searched, even on the singer site. everywhere i had to pay over $30 to get one. after paying over $350 for the machine with a 2 year extended Warranty, i was NOT going to pay for the users manual. i purchased a simple brother, that comes with a thick user's manual to do all that i needed. the only thing missing from the simple Brother that i would have liked was the ability to have the needle in the down position when i let of the peddal.
