I bought one of these machines for myself a couple years ago. I am not a person that does a lot of sewing, but this machine is perfect for what little sewing I do. A little mending, a little fixing. It comes with great instructions and easy to use. It is a great machine for a person new to sewing. Great price!! It was easy to order from your website and there were a number of choices. I am happy with my purchase. The same machine was more expensive at other stores. Thank you for making things affordable for us.

I really enjoy using this machine. It is very easy to use and setup. The only thing I found that was a problem was where the start/light button is located. To me it seems like it could be in a more obvious location but I do really like the machine.

I have not had time to evaluate my purchase. You really should have a N/A for an answer. I've had Singer Sewing Machines my whole life so I do not believe there will be an issue with this one. There are quite a few questions that I have responded with 5 stars because there was not a N/A so this survey is not totally accurate. But I did not want to answer with lesser stars because I believe in the Singer product.

Havent sewn since 8th grade . My very own sewing machine . Im 65 . I love it . Its very easy to set up . It all came back to me . I live rhis machine . It also is a bit bigger than the picture showed . I wanted one that had some room to work when you sew .

This Singer Sewing Machine is a very good machine! I am 88 years old and hadn't done any sewing for a few years. I was delighted without easy. I got back to sewing on a machine, and I think it was because this machine was easy to use, instructions were easy to understand, and everything just went well.

it's a good sewing machine for the price. I always have to hem my husbands jeans and I was afraid it might not go through the material but it did a great. the machine is light weight but sews well on everything I've tried so far. The bobbin is really easy to wind. it's easy to thread, I'm anxious to try the one step button holes.

Let me preface my comments by saying that I did not put the machine together and therefore did not actually use it. It looks and felt quite sturdy, however. Unfortunately, without using it, I returned it. It does not come with a hard copy user manual and not having one at hand while trying to thread a machine would have bee a big problem for me - admittedly a quite old person. I did not see mention of this outside of the box but I may have missed it. Sorry I had to return it.

Does not work! Made a terrible noise when running %26 thread bunched up under the material no matter how many times I changed tension or stitch. Very disappointed since this was a Singer. I returned it but Walmart did not refund the $22.00 I paid for extended warranty.

It was bought because of the SINGER name brand. It was working ok for first few weeks but then while sewing, machine started making loud noises. It doesn't sew according to the different stitches option, it picks the opposite stitch which is not chosen. It's annoying and frustrating at the same time because fabric, thread and time is being wasted. It also skips the thread and storage drawer doesn't stay put.

This machine is a joke, a bad one at that. I set it up and started hemming some standard fabric-weight slacks (womens pants, not jeans). I got one pair and one leg of the second pair hemmed and boom. That was it. Tension wouldn't "adjust"; thread from the bobbin continously jammed up. Contact Singer. Waste of time because "we are having ongoing issues with the tension in this model". I am returning the machine to Walmart.
