SINGER S14-78 Serger

Threaded with white thread. Nothing dead. Had to return. Since it was bought online. It had to be returned by shipping from local Walmart in opelika, al. After the run around with clerk fumbling for a box. I guess supervisor said that she could just ship in original box without more packaging. She threw it in the box without the styrofoam packaging or the foot pedal. Hopefully they refund money. Because that lady hated doing her job.

The product did not come with all its parts and I'm still tryna get in touch with the company

I have it set up as a 3 thread edger, it works perfectly for my needs.

i did not like that there was a manual with the serger. i could not find a manual on line for this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a serger before, just your standard plain sewing machine. This unit is so lightweight and compact compared to my old machine. I needed to print the manual to make sure I set it up correctly (don't print the whole document like I did- it's in 3 different languages). Fairly simple to set up. Has lots of neat features that one machine couldn't do for me in the past so I'm pleased with that. Will definitely take me some time to get use to it but great machine to learn and play on for starters like me.

This machine works quickly and does a fantastic job. The way i can set the thread tension with ease is a miracle worker. I am going to be using this sewing machine ALOT. I am excited about all the things i will be able to sew.

I was worried at first about threading the machine but it wasn't difficult at all. I also found helpful videos online if I needed another reference. I love that I can use several different threadings when sewing and multiple stitches. I've learned that the machine works extremely well on stretch material with out popping. I also love that it's so easy to sew my children's clothes. If I buy my kids clothes to big I can always take them up. This sewing machine came with all the accessories I needed. It's a very sturdy and high quality machine. I highly recommend this to everyone.

The fact that you can do so many different stitch combinations and it sews the seams all at once makes it so much easier. She's been making all kinds of holiday decor since she got it. It comes with everything you need to use it right out it the box. Really great and ingenious design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super easy machine to do just about anything you like in regards to sewing. Super easy to set up and get started. It does not take up to much space but do not let that fool you it is powerful for its size. You can use anywhere from 2 to 4 threads at one time. You can sew or stitch on something as small as a napkin or go just about as big as you like such as a blanket. Want to stitch or sew designs this will do it with ease. Its so easy to learn that even someone that is just starting out should not have to much problems figuring it out. Want to do a seam and seam finish at the same time? Now you can and it also trims off the excess. There is so this can do. It makes it simple and easy to create what you want to create. Have an idea in your mind? This will help to bring it to life.
