These metal brackets come with mollies and two sizes of crews , long/short . If these are going to be used on a static shelf with light items ~ they are going to look and work fine . If the shelf is going to hold heavier ~ items that you are putting on and off maybe not . There is no gusset in the angle and the metal isn't the heaviest . I got them as a backup for our drop leaf dinning table , that we don't drop anymore . I feel comfortable with them but ......

The brackets are ok but the screws are soft and the heads will round out on you unless you pre-drill holes for them. I'm using a nice quality phillips bit on low torque and they stripped right out. Buy some other screws!
