This is a great way for kids to quietly and independently do an educational activity- learning colors and counting and dinosaurs and hand eye coordination and also spatial awareness and planning (because the paths allow only one bead at a time so it takes planning to most efficiently organize the beads). The magnetic bead mazes are relaxing and would be excellent for a person recovering from a stroke or for elderly people in a nursing home. My kids love it. I have a 3 and 4 year old girls that are learning counting and colors. And boys 5yrs, 7yrs and 8yrs that love doing this too. Many hours of fun and it never seems to get old. To make the magnetic pen easier to keep track of, I braided some orange parachute cord to the small looped string that is on the back of the pen. It's still easy to use the magnetic pen, even with the 18 inch light weight orange cord.
Great for 3 year old grandson. This puzzle is a bit more challenging than the ice cream cone puzzle.
This was a gift for our 3 yr. pld Birthday n he loved it. Educational, easy to do, easy to handle pieces.
this is a great learning to read tool for our grandaughter! I cant wait to give it to her for her Birthday.
Cute little toy. My two year old likes it but it doesn't keep his attention long. Which isn't the toys fault. Has bright colors and is very durable. The only down side is it doesn't have an attached pen, it's small and easy to lose.
Only thing I disliked was the pen is very small and is not connected to board so it can get lost very easily but other than that, magnetics work great on it.
this is exactly as expected. my only issues were from shipping, the balls were stuck in one of the slots for 2 days before we could get them free to use. Also, I wish the magnetic pen was attached because I easily see my 3 year old losing it.
It is a nice looking toy. The only thing is the little wand that is not attached by the little string. It can get lost easy, so I put some Velcro on it and stuck it on the edge.
