A great power tool combo. Looks and feels like a high quality pair of power tools. And with a 5 year warranty you can't beat this combo
Can't believe I've done without cordless tools fit years. No more dragging a cord and projects take half the time. Brushless motor, amazing. Very impressed.
They Work well they have more power then my 12volt - drill, impact driver
Haven't had this drill / driver combo very long but used it at home and at work. Happy with purchase. Will buy other tools in this series. Price is on point and quality and performance surprising. Just hoping more dealers would carry this series as availability is limited for in store purchases.
I've worked with a few different makes of drills and impact in my life - never personally owned anything until I received the SKIL PwrCore 20 Drill & Impact kit as a gift. While it doesn't quite match the power that Dewalt and Milwaukee holds in their tools, they still offer plenty of juice to get many jobs done. I've used my kit religiously for well over a year now with no loss of power, or life in the 2.5A battery it came with. I would highly recommend this as a "mid-level" power tool kit for anyone that can't quite afford the high end brands I mentioned above, but don't want to trust the lower end guys like Craftsman or Black & Decker.
Not impressed , lacks power, jacks run time , takes a long time to charge , the response time from trigger pull to chuck spinning full rpm is slow charger takes to long only get 1 battery so I can work for.3.houes then gotta stop for 4.hijrs so it can charge
Bit driver is not brushless, but it worked very good. I received a broken drill- brand new in the box. Chuck wouldn't lock and hold a drill bit. Skil wouldn't warranty because i didn't buy it from an authorized dealer. Item returned to seller.
Very little power even on a full charge. Acts like it wants to die out on drilling a basic hole in drywall with nothing behind it. Runs hot and battery tends to overheat if trying to drive basic screws or anchors in drywall
It is the wrong product. It is a DL527501 instead of CB739001
I ordered this combo kit due to the low price and my experience with the Skil brand. I am increasingly frustrated with the quality control/customer service, and incorrect marketing. This combo kit is brushed, this includes the drill/driver and the impact wrench. I reached out to Skil Tools for clarification and was taken on a roller coaster of information. At first it was brushless, then I pointed out the instruction manual references brush less for the driver and brushed for the impact driver. I was told it is is both brushed and brushless, the driver is brushless and the impact is brushed. I questioned why it doesn't say brushed on the box and they said the driver is 12v brushless and impact is brushed. I pushed back on this saying they are clearly 20v on the box. Based on their assurances, it was verified to be 20v brushless drill and 20v brushed impact. After opening the box it is clearly brushed. Their brushed tools are great, so I am not sure what is going on with the marketing, but I purchased this solely for a brushless driver and will be returning this. I have also had an issue with my other brushless drive battery. I only get less than 20 screws into boards before the battery dies, clearly a defective tool or battery. I wanted to like the new Skil by Chervon... but I have already encountered a number of issues since buying a handful of their cordless power tools.
