[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried a couple inexpensive beginner drones and this is the best so far. Instructions were good and had me flying in a few minutes. I will need some spare batteries for longer sessions but that's the norm for this class drone.

Very easy to setup and fly. Recommend marking both the battery connector and the charging plug so that it is clear how to orient the charging plug to the battery cable. The cable pins are delicate and can easily be bent if the connectors are not oriented properly.

I bought this for my kids for an early xmas gift as their dad started dialysis and wanted to lift their spirits, they have been having nothing but fun with it they fight over who's turn it is. So far because of it being cold outside they've only been doing it inside but either way its been so much fun! Would definitely recommend! 10/10

As someone passionate about capturing visuals, I love how seamless the setup was and how remarkably steady it handles in the air. It gives you the absolute freedom to explore angles you never thought you'd reach, making the flying experience itself an absolute blast. ​My one major critique is the camera quality. While it works fine for casual flying and practicing your shots, the clarity and color accuracy could definitely be improved to match how great the drone actually flies. I really hope the creators focus on enhancing the camera sensor for future models. It's a wonderful, high-performing machine with great potential—it just needs a camera upgrade to truly shine!

I got this item a month ago and I really really like it… though a few things could be improved, 1 it could use some more battery life, 2 it kinda seems to drift a little forward and a little to the right when I am flying it, other than that it’s really amazing! Don’t recommend for use out side though, it’s to light, that’s why some people could not control it

My first time owning a drone. Price was very reasonable. I figure it wouldnt be a huge lost if I crashed and broke it. Great for a beginner. Nice features. Lights on bottom wifi for android and iPhone. The only down side is run (fly) time 6 to 8 minutes max. But for a first timer it was fun. Great item to learn with. Cinnected to remote easy, extra blades and blade guards

​The X-31 SHOCKWAVE is a fantastic quadcopter, especially for the price point. As a beginner to intermediate flyer, I found it incredibly stable and easy to control right out of the box. The Wi-Fi camera feature is great—it connects easily to my smartphone, and the ability to capture live-view footage and photos is a major plus for recording outdoor adventures. Setting up the companion app was quick and painless, and the drone itself looks very sleek. ​My only real drawback, and the reason I couldn't give it a full 5 stars, is the battery life, which is quite short. You only get a few minutes of flight time before needing a recharge. I strongly recommend purchasing at least one or two extra batteries to maximize your fun, as the need to constantly pause for charging can interrupt the experience.
