Sky Viper Type-R Racing Drone w/Charging Cable and Replacement Propellers

This Sky Viper Type-R is a fun option for a light-weight fast drone. It can accommodate multiple skill levels including a simple one-touch option for stunts. It is worth noting that there may have been an update to the product as the image currently shows "22 mph top speed" but the description says "speeds past 30 mph" and the product received has box showing "over 30 mph top speed". The drone has an 800 mAh rechargable battery and the remote requires 3 AAA batteries. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

The SkyViper Type R drone is small but mighty. This thing really takes off! It flies, it flips, it rolls and it's so fun to maneuver the flight pattern with the multi directional controller. This is my first drone and I have had a blast flying it around my yard. Even though I had to emergency land it a couple times because I was worried it was getting away from me, it landed smoothly and without any damage. I can't wait to test it out more and share it with friends.

I started in the beginner mode to get comfortable, then switched to the more aggressive settings, and the difference in handling was impressive. The tighter turns and quicker response make it feel like a little race drone. I also like the auto launch and land feature, it makes takeoffs smooth and landings precise, even when the battery's running low. The self-correcting stability is a lifesaver when a gust of wind hits, and it's great for keeping the drone steady while I line up the next move.

I just wish it had less Auto pilot otherwise it's the first drone from a store that actually was fast. i was shocked. thats really important to me. I don't like slow drones that are made to just take pictures this one's made for one reason to be super fast snd it is. it's faster than their airplane

I'm absolutely loving my Type-R Racing Drone! The speed and agility are insane, and it's so much fun to fly. The video quality is amazing, and I love the first-person view (FPV) experience it provides. I've been flying it for hours on end, and it's a great way to unwind after a long day of work as a doctor. The build quality is solid, and it's withstood a few crashes without any issues. I love how fast this little drone is. It's very quick and it's unbelievably stable for such a small and fast drone. definitely not for beginners on the third speed setting. had I not had experience with drones prior to this one definitely wouldn't have gone as well as it did. the other than that it's stable, it's got trim capabilities, it would be neat if they could add acro to this drone but even without it it's a lot of fun. way faster than probably 80% of the drones you can buy for anywhere under $150. I added a little antenna to mine on the controller and it actually helped the maximum control range quite a bit. I don't suggest taking your controller apart and adding an antenna unless you're an experienced hobbyist. all in all the same gets five stars for me I love this little drum very very fast very very fun with decent battery life for such a fast drone.

This product is very user friendly for a beginner. It is also enjoyable for my boyfriend's kids and they love flying it around outside. I liked how fast it went through the sky. Its stunt capabilities were cool and agile. I don't like that the controller is battery powered and not rechargeable.

I really appreciated that this drone was ready out of the box, it was really easy and intuitive to get started, no apps to download and learn. The drone moved much faster than I was expecting! It's really fast and was fun to use and tru stunts. There's still a decent learning curve for me, but the drone held up to accidentally hitting in bushes and trees (that was on me for not thinking about wind gust blowing it and flying it too close to my house). Very fun and solid drone.

It is very fun. It actually took me some time to understand how it works. I first didn't have the batteries. And then I put them in and make it work. At first, it was hard to control, but I figured it. I especially selected a day where there is literally no wind just to make sure everything is safe. But it is very fun especially for kids. Had good family time.

The Skyviper drone controls are pretty good for the price. It seems like a great starter done to get the feel of controlling a drone without complicated features. It can be a little drifty but I think I may need to work on calibrating it more. This drone is great for older children/teens as well as adults and is relatively easy to fly. It may take a little time for a novice to fully use this drone, but once you get it down it is pretty easy and a lot of fun. One con that I can think of is the absence of an on/off switch. you must unplug the battery to get it to turn off or the battery will drain. All in all I find this drone to be great for the price and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get into flying drones.
