10/10 : Safety, Accuracy, Ease of Use A

Anonymous June 6, 2026

This to me is as good as it gets for a blade that cuts through tape and string like a breeze! The blade is excellent and it's as safety forward as any I know. I am so.....clumsy and non-crafty. XD Even scissors cause me problems. I literally jammed this ceramic blade into my thumb just about as hard as I could because I was doing something I forgot not to do. I was pulling the blade toward me rather than way. But, hey, now I can write a great testimonial! ROFL The blade did not slice through my skin. I would've probably been ER material if it had been like an exacto knife. But it gave me a sort of super-thin papercut that didn't even bleed, and was gone by the next day. Do you have teenagers? You really, REALLY need to get this for them if they open any sort of boxes. The sharpness is excellent, but it will also help save their fingers if they make mistakes learning to navigate a knife. It is also a great blade for accuracy. It's easy to hold %26 ergonomic. I have fibromyalgic that flares up in my hands, and this blade really helps not make that worse.

But this now for cutting paper but not card stock

TabithaB June 21, 2026

I didn't know what it was until I read about it. Now I think it's my favorite art knife. I have psoriatic arthritis but this doesn't bother it. The knife glides right over the paper cutting in swirls and waves. It doesn't do card stock very well. But paper, this is what you need.

Pretty nifty tool

paula June 5, 2026

This is a great nifty tool. I bought it to open boxes and it is perfect. The last one I bought was twice the price and after only a couple of years, I could not use it any longer as the blade was dull, and that was a U-shaped handle.

Love this design…

Margaret December 26, 2024

I do a lot of arts %26 crafts, but I'm older now and so my shaky arthritic hands are not as skilled at small detail work as they once were. This device is a game changer, though! The hole for my finger brings stabilization to the knife and increases the amount of pressure I am able to apply as the razor sharp ceramic blade maneuvers even the tiniest spaces.

Blade broke the first day I used it.

Great Handle and Versatile Design!

Autumn May 23, 2026

I absolutely love the handle on this precision knife! The finger grip gives excellent control for detailed cuts. However, I did not realize when purchasing that the blade was ceramic. While it works well and cuts nicely for everyday tasks, it wasn't strong enough for my specific project, which involved cutting soda cans to make a windmill. The great news is that this knife is very versatile. I was easily able to replace the ceramic blade with a standard metal blade I already had on hand, and it seems like the handle will fit a majority of standard-sized precision blades. Because the handle is so comfortable and easy to use, I am definitely keeping it and plan to use it often!

awkward and uncomfortable

REALTORJacke April 1, 2025

I've used it over the last few weeks to cut paper, cardstock, and chipboard. It feels very dull when cutting chipboard. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was a ceramic blade that's on me. the finger hole is uncomfortable and awkward. it almost needs to be shorter or there needs to be an adjustment so that you can put the blade at a different angle that way you can actually hold the knife and not just lay your finger across the top of it. it seems as if it was made for a larger hand and not for delicate paper crafts. however this ceramic blade is probably for paper crafts so this is very confusing. the YouTube videos I watch show people using the Fiskars brand with the metal blade which I can't find anywhere. so if you have small to medium female hands this will probably feel very awkward to you as well.

The blade isn't very sharp and leaves a ragged edge. The shape of the handle is comfortable, but does that matter if it doesn't cut well.

The Worst Blade Ever

Lane April 26, 2026

This is the worst blade I've ever used. While making my first solid cut, I had to make several small cuts to get through photo paper. I'll stick with Exacto from now on. It wasn't even worth the money. This is an honest review. I won't be returning it because I might be able to use a different (Exacto) blade with the tool.

Dropped it once and the blade broke instantly. The handle is nice but I'll be replacing the blade with a steel one instead of the fragile ceramic it comes with
