Great price for a decent rod and reel! This is the way to go when teaching your kids how to fish. If the rod or reel breaks you are not out a whole lot. None of mine have broken, but it is inevitable. So far, these are very easy for kids to learn on and make fishing that much more enjoyable.

Honestly, these are amazing little fishing combos. While not high-end equipment, they are amazing for new anglers... both kids and adults. They function so easily; add a lure of choice and go. I hadn't fished in over 25 years, so I picked up a couple to use with my kids. We all enjoyed catching multiple panfish and the enjoyment will continue to grow from here. If you're new to fishing, don't hesitate to give these a go.

This are great beginners fishing rods. I bought 3 for my children for this Easter. I was expecting that I would have to replace the line immediately but it turns out that they are spooled with OK line and that wasn't necessary. The drags are good and the action on the rod is good as well. I frequently was the one casting and caught a couple fish on them and they performed way above my expectation for a cheap rod/reel combo.

This rod and reel is an excellent choice for young adult or older fisherman. It's self contained with line already installed which is a big convenience. It's easy to use and easy to cast effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The price cannot be beat! Thomas Loftus

Just like the one I used to fish with as a kid! I caught a lot of fish on my Zebco rod and reel and can’t wait to teach my grandson how to fish.. great price and quality reel.

This was purchased from my eight year-old daughter, who is just learning how to fish we wanted something a bit higher quality that wouldn't break or snap on her but still able for her to hold and cast %26 such. this rod is good quality it bends when needs to, but doesn't snap. the eyelets also are good quality don’t bend or flex. The reel is easy for her to use as it has a push button. it casts smoothly line doesn’t tangle up in the reel. We wanted something that wasn’t a flimsy child’s pole and this fits her perfectly. she’s been very excited to use it.

I think these Zebco fishing rod and reels are very nice for the low price. I wanted to have a couple on hand for times I decide to go fishing. There was a time I had plenty of fishing rods, reels, lures, tackle but to make it brief, I no longer do. One thing I did not recognize until I received the 'red' and the 'blue' that I ordered, the reels are different. That is ok and I actually do like that they are different. If you are purchasing more than one, be sure to look closely at the images because the reels may be different from what you want.

Lowkey had the lowest expectations from these rods I just had them around for other people to use so I wont have to share my main rod.😂 I decided to use it myself on two different days and caught something both days. The fish were about 6-7 inches and maybe a pound and this tiny rod pulled them up onto the pier easily. For sure recommend.

This is a sturdy rod for a kid. The reel is easy enough for my 7 yr old granddaughter to turn but still holds the line taught enough for a good cast. She learned to cast in one day and is now a pro at casting.

picker did a poor job checking fishing poles. they didn't make sure lines were not damaged. had to replace both internal fishing line on new poles. Picker needs to do better. needed poles that day so grateful i had more fishing line from family available.
