works at one end. it curves the shower liner inward so the water stays in the shower. i used it in a walk in shower that has a shower liner and curtain .

they are actually quite useful I put them in my shower and it keeps the water in while keeping the curtain curved towards the inside so the water doesn't splash out

It might work?
It was hard to put on and popped off on our downstairs shower that has a straight bar. It stayed on our curved shower and works pretty good there but we don't move it.

Misleading
Not compatible with all shower curtains and difficulty trying to make them fit properly. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
