Price was reasonably cheap. super easy setup, the worst was nothing, the only thing was the delivery was left on my neighbors porch after i entered where i lived on the intructiins. This is why id rather pick up myself but it eas coming from Shawnee. The charging pump took about 30 mins or an hour. Plugged it in 10 mins give or take. I would not recommend canping at this time that is if you do not have a generator b/c it is chargeable eith a USB cable so i dont know how long it would stay up etc.
Unlike many built-in-pump inflatable air mattresses, this one has a pump with a built-in lithium battery... it does not plug into a wall outlet. It is self contained and ideal for camping when you do not have a generator. It self-blows-up in about 3-4 minutes. I bought 4 of these and used the same pump on each just to see how long the pump battery would run. The battery was long enough to inflate all four mattresses. We will be using these on a week-long tent-camping trip at a lake with our boat. I know that the battery in these pumps will work each day to add air from where the vinyl from the matress will stretch from use and require more air. Just remember, you need insulation between you, your sleeping bag and the Mattress. The air in the mattress will be cold at night and transfer that cold to you from underneath. Purchasing these for under $40, I'm very please to get a tall air mattress that is sturdy, self inflating and comfortable. I am 6'2" and 260lbs. This twin-size air mattress is going to be enjoyed.
It is well made for what it is. Being battery-powered, it would be excellent out in the wilderness. It fills quickly and the pump is quite adequate. The only problem I found was that there are five 'hills' running the length of the mattress (between the four rows of indents) and you wind up lying on either a hill or a valley which I found unacceptable. Some might not care, but I couldn't tolerate it. Otherwise, good price and sturdy.
It's difficult to describe this air mattress, but I'll give it a shot. It's too soft and almost "soggy" feeling. It's like you can't get enough air in it. No matter how much air you put in, it's not enough. The way it stretches out and leaves you sunken in, makes you feel as if the vinyl used to make the mattress is thin and of poor quality. After a few uses, mine developed a leak that I could not find. After going over EVERY inch of the mattress 3 times and still not finding the leak, I decided it just wasn't worth the time and effort. I sat my spray bottle down and went to my local Walmart to purchase a new, DIFFERENT BRAND air mattress. Don't be fooled by the low price...this mattress is uncomfortable JUNK and you'll only be wasting your time and money. I gave it 2 stars for the low price and the rechargeable pump.
Overall, it’s a good air mattress, but the air pump it comes with is crap. I’ve used this twice in the past year. I took it to a camping trip in October and everything worked perfectly. It was quick to inflate and was easy to deflate and pack up. I used it again for a camping trip in April and that’s where the problem began. Before the trip, I made sure to charge the air pump, but when we got to the campsite, it only worked for like 2 minutes. I thought maybe I didn’t plug it in correctly when I was at home, so I charged it at my campsite while we made dinner. I came back and tried it again and had the same problem. After several tries over a period of 4 hours, I finally got my air mattress inflated. I am unsure why the air pump wasn’t holding a charge, but it was incredibly annoying. But the air mattress itself was fine, hence why I gave it 2 stars. Now I just have to replace the air pump. I’m crossing my fingers that this will be a one time extra purchase and not a annual one.
The mattress is very comfortable, easy to inflate...however, I find the need to air it up during the night at least once. It seems fine sitting with pressure on it but when I lay down it starts loosing air. I'm going to return it.
dont waste your money on this piece of crap. the worst air matress that i have ever TRIED to sleep on. its like trying to sleep on a camel. there is a huge hump in the middle.
I have owned this exact same mattress and it worked great! BUT this one I just got and it won't hold air. My fist night using it I woke up in the middle of the night laying on the ground because all the air deflated.
The air mattress is nice but buy one that has a corded pump or batteries you can install. The air pump on a full charge does not fill the bed, it gets maybe 1/2 way full and shuts off. Then you have to recharge it. Thankfully I had another air pump and was able to blow it up. Right on the outside package it says for exchange only. That should have been my clue something was not right.
The air pump does not hold the charge I only used it 2 times, the first time using it I had to charge it 2 times to inflate the mattress, and the second time I had to charge it 4 times to inflate the mattress
