Have have this one in the past i loved it because it was simple. Note you dont want to hook it up and drive fast making it expand with an all of the sudden 1000s of lbs of pressure as that will brake it it wont brake the strap but with brake the mechanism that winds it back up. Go forward slowly till it reaches its maximum length then pull or the recoiling affect will be completely destroyed.

Exactly what I needed to carry on the ranch. Used to drag, pull, untangle and free items to enabling limited towing,, these easy to secure straps save the day several times a week. From pulling a log out of the river to rescuing a pickup truck stuck in the mud, its length and strength get the job done.

I've used this 3 times already since I bought it a week ago. Simple to hook %26 unhook and it goes right back to its original state when you're done with it. I would have owned one of these years ago, except I didn't know they existed. Would highly recommend.

Bought one for each car and side-by-side. Best idea for towing and getting others out of trouble. Great invention. Everyone I have used them on has gone out and bought their own.

I use this strap to tow my dragster behind my golf car tow car. This is the second one I've purchased. The first one lasted four seasons of regular use. Finally, the housing cracked at one opening because of repeated ground impacts. The tow strap is still fine on my original but the housing is now broken so I'm replacing it. One helpful thing we've done is paint a black line on each end at about 12" from full extension so that we could judge the "pull point" without jerking the car. Anyway, I find that the product works well at a very attractive price.

It looks great and doesn't take up a lot of room . I haven't tried it yet, but I will update you when I do.

It works like it's supposed to and rolls back up on its own.

I haven't had to tow anything with this yet, but it seems great. Solid piece and heavy duty.
